What a beautiful wedding in Cabo San Lucas Mexico~ Sunset da Mona Lisa is a restaurant in  Cabo about 5 minutes from downtown. Sunset da Mona Lisa,  offers priceless sunsets and wonderful weddings! This particular  day the sky in Cabo San Lucas was a blush pink! It really was  impressive , as if the bride Jessica put the order in to compliment the rest of her perfect day! Excellent luxury wedding at Club 96 in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. Club 96 is a private beach club for the owners of Villa Del Mar in Los Cabos Mexico. I have heard its the best  Private Beach Club in Mexico! I believe it!  The club can host special events up to 200 . Its a perfect spot for a destination wedding! Carly and Randy’s wedding took place in March- March in Cabo is beautiful, a month to consider when thinking about choosing your wedding date. I always here.. Whats a good time to get Married ? “L.O.V.E is without question life’s greatest experience“  Anyone that has been truly in love would agree.  I am sure of it!  Anyone that has picked up the phone and had a conversation with me”  regarding wedding photography”  will understand what I am talking about!  Your wedding photos and wedding video should represent your personality. I love it when brides send me a FEW photos from pinterest. This way I can see how they see themselves. BEWARE if you send  your photographer to many photos to copy.. Your wedding photos will be nothing but a imitation of someone else’s personality.. Why would you want that?? Really… This has only happened to Alec and I a few times.. But,  I am hearing this is becoming a trend and its driving photographers crazy. ” No creative photographer wants to copy the ideas of another photographer” The photo loses the intimate vulnerability of the moment. Its that second in time that makes one photo stand out from the rest. The look in your eyes,  the touch of a hand, the softness of a real kiss.  Do not cheat your self out of  your real photos. Club 96 is a private beach club that is part of Villas Del Mar. Both wedding locations are breathtaking! Nicholle and Grants wedding was wonderful from start to finish. Weddings at Barcelo Los Cabos Mexico, Alec and T Photography Cabo

Cabo  San Lucas  destination wedding at Barcelo resort Los Cabos ~ Don and Melissa had a beautiful  and really fun event!  Alec and I have shot many wedding at this resort and always seem to do very well . The resort is one of my favorite all inclusive resorts in town. The rooms are great and photograph really well. The resort is not overly large and  I like that.  You can host your ceremony at the gazebo shown in the photos or on the beach in the sand just in front of the gazebo. The staff is warm. I have always liked working with everyone. The food has always been good as well. I want to thank Don and Melissa for choosing Alec and I~ We enjoyed every minute!! Much Joy ~ T

What a beautiful Cabo San Lucas wedding~ Cabo Del Sol is one of my favorite wedding venues in Cabo. The location offers many different ceremony spots. You can get married on the beach in the sand or you can choose the grass above the beach. Cabo Del Sol is not a resort. It is the club house to the number one golf course in Mexico. The venue is private and the food is great. Its located about 10 minutes from Down town Cabo San Lucas. Cabo destination weddings. Your wedding will be the most important celebration of your life. Choose your wedding venue wisely. deciding on a wedding venue is the second thing the need to do,  after you hire your wedding planner. I suggest  Be That Bride Events I always suggest a local planner. They can advise you on the locations and the vendors from first hand experience. If possible come to Cabo and stay at the resorts you are considering, even if its just one night. If you cannot come, then my blog will be a really great source of information for you. Loved this destination wedding and I love this Los Cabos wedding venue. The wedding planning company was Be That Bride Events and as usual the team was great. The wedding events took place over several days.  Starting at at Esperanza resort, Sunset da Mona Lisa and then finally ending with the ceremony and wedding reception at Cabo Del Sol. This could be one of the nicest couples in history. Every step of this wedding from the planning to the photos & video seemed to be flawless. I had some one the other day say” Oh all the resorts in Cabo are nice,  you cannot go wrong”… Barf…  Yes you can.. Almost every venue has its unique thing that makes them stand out from the rest. Sunset da Mona Lisa has unreal views. To see the sunset at this venue is spectacular. When planning your wedding focus your budget on what is important to you. I had a bride tell me that her wedding planner said”If you hire Alec and T they will take so much of your budget you will not have anything left.. what will they photography? Can you imagine being advised that you cannot get these photographs, because you need more STUFF to make your wedding look good!! ” hahahha!! We focus on the love and the moments the joy and life. The memories of your day. I do not need 1 flower to photography to make your wedding look beautiful.. This beautiful Mexico destination wedding took place at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach located in Los Cabos Mexico. Sunset Beach resort is one of the 4 famous Pueblo Bonito resorts . The Ceremony was held on the beach below and reception location was the sky pool ( breathtaking views). Megan & Nyal could not have had a better wedding.What a great group this was. We want to also thank  “Laura Ortiz” the resorts wedding planner. Alec and I have been working with Laura for about 6 years and we highly respect her. Planning a destination wedding is not the same as planning a local wedding, you will be counting on your wedding planner to do most of it for you. Many of the resort planners are extremely busy ,sometimes planning 8-20 weddings in a month and dealing with 100s of brides. You really need to give them a break…or hire an outside planner to help, we suggest.  www.BeThatBrideEvents.com. I just cannot tell you how cool destinations can be. I have witnessed so many beautiful things at these events! family’s bonding and friend reuniting. Trust me its great for everyone to get a vacation and they get to use you as the excuse!!

Well a little bit of rain, earthquake and resort room catching on fire would be a good start! I was sure when I walked in Steph would be stressed. She was perfectly calm and 100% stress free. The sun was out and the ocean glistened . We do not get a lot of rain in Cabo. When we get rain, the next day is always breathtaking. look at the sky in these photos!!  I had been talking with Stephanie & Thomas for about a year. And just loved them past the moon! Los Cabos Luxury Resort, Esperanza Hosts Another Outstanding Destination Wedding

Esperanza Resort in Cabo San Lucas. If you are thinking about a destination wedding and are thinking about a luxury wedding, Esperanza Resort in Los Cabos could be the place for your event. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love this venue..Well yes I can~ I can tell you in full detail exactly why I love this resort and exactly how to have a great wedding at this location. 323 455-3342 The venue has several different ceremony options and several different cocktail hour location options as well as dinner reception spots. Each location has its own uniqueness. One of the biggest things I hear is this…Ceremony on the beach..or.. Ceremony under the palm trees (AKA pool terraces) Call me ~talk to me ~ I will tell you in 2 minutes flat what location is best suited for you, and why they are totally different.   Alec and I started shooting at the resort in 2007 and fell in love with the property from day one. When our wedding planning Be That Bride Events advices couples regarding Cabo weddings its always on our OMG list. Aja and Melvin’s July wedding was one of those breath taking Cabo days,  not to bright or hot (a little warm) it was a perfect day for a wedding. I spent almost 1 year getting to know Ajas mother “Martha” over the phone and emails. Martha was wonderful and put great love and care into making sure this day would be perfect for Aja and Melvin. El Dorado Beach Club Wedding in Cabo San Lucas Mexico

What A wonderful Los Cabos Wedding! This is one of my favorite weddings of the summer. El Dorado is located in Los Cabos Mexico. This private golf and beach club is a perfect destination wedding location. We just finished editing the wedding video and it is spectacular. The brides sister “maid of honor” commented in her speech, that Shelley was one of the nicest people in the world, I agree 100%. Ok here is the inside scoop. Just because everyone keeps asking. lol. If you read my blog at all you will realize a few things. I cannot spell and my grammar sucks. I write my blogs from the heart and off the top of my head. I do not look back, I tell the complete truth. Honestly I love Villa weddings. Here is the thing. They are a ton of work  for a wedding planner (hire one or you are dead in the water)  You cannot rent a villa and just go to Costco and have a party. You need permits and you need to do it right. I have said this 200 million times and will say it again. To me privacy is everything. A wedding of 10 or a wedding of 200 needs to have its own space. On the day you say “I will love you forever” and make the biggest commitment  of your life, do without strangers in bathing suits joining in please. I am not saying that resorts do not have privacy, some do I can tell you what resorts to choose just call me or email me I do not have any problem telling you where Not to have your wedding. Well OK then. Christina and Matt great wedding choice. Christina was refereed to me by a beautiful bride a few posted down Thanks Steph. After a few times talking and getting to know each other we decided Villa Marcella was the spot. This Cabo beach front Villa has 5 bedrooms sleeps 14 and is over 10,000 sg feet. This summer Alec and I have had some of the most amazing wedding’s at One & Only Palmilla. Matt and Amy’s wedding was no exception. This beautiful ballerina was a joy, she made me want to point my toes and pirouette , I spent my whole life in a dance studio. Amy and I had a natural bond before we met. Maybe beautiful is not a strong enough word? Its crazy breathtaking, insanely gorgeous  and the food is off the chart! If you are undecided on a destination for your wedding?? I highly suggest you give me a call. Cabo San Lucas is truly the spot. The weather in Cabo is almost perfect year round.. Maybe a little warm in August and September. When I am on vacation I like it warm.  The bug issue is nothing like other tropical destinations. I have been to other locations that have mosquitoes are like B-52 bombers.. I do not like animals that bite or sting.. Rain is almost zero. Mexicans are loving and caring, smiles and hugs comes natural to the culture.  In my mind nothing compares to a Cabo destination wedding.What a great chance for family and friends to bond over a few days. Dreams Resort is located in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. If you are looking for an all inclusive resort in Los Cabos to host your destination wedding you may want to look into Dreams. Alec and I have not shot many weddings at the resort,  I think around 5 or 6. It seems like every wedding we shoot at Dreams ends up with really amazing photos. The resort staff is always kind and easy to work with, which is a huge plus in my book. When you are planning a your wedding you want to have it as stress free as possible. Lets talk about Cabo San Lucas and what this destination has to offer for weddings. If you have been to Los Cabos you already know the town is charming, the people are welcoming and loving, the weather is almost perfect year round, its safe and its clean and easy to get to. To me its the perfect destination wedding location. OK so Cabo is great..What about wedding venues? And what about all that other wedding stuff? Its really pretty simple contact me and we will chat. This  beautiful fun couple Gina and Nelson contacted me a year prior to their wedding and we talked about everything from hair and make up to Djs to florists, everything  until we finally got around to wedding photography and their wedding video. LOL that was a no brainier. I loved this couple and knew its was going to be a great day for Alec and T.Photography~ Gina and Nelson we love you both!! Wedding at Diamante Golf In Cabo San Lucas: BY Alec and T. Photography

I want to start by WOW! This blog post will have many Wows and Woohs!! This is an amazing property. I was blown away. When Eric and Elise called me and told me about their wedding I was a little hesitant. I thought that Diamonte Golf  Course was half way to Lapaz. I was wrong. Its actual very close and the drive is beautiful. It took me about 25 minutes. When I turned off the main highway and started on the road to the the property all I could think of was. wooh this road  must have cost someone a fortune.. LOL.  Its private, its beautiful, and I am headed towards the ocean. I had this build up going on in my head the whole way. Then I arrived. I took a deep breath  and exhaled a big wowowo My Dad is a golfer and he would die to golf this course. Thats on my list of things to do. If you are a golfer you must check out this property. The wedding of Eric and Elise took place at the beginning of April a beautiful time of year in Los Cabos  for weddings~ windy but beautiful. The event seemed to be perfect and effort less. I want to send a thank you to” Jeff ” Diamontes event coordinator. He was great from beginning to end. I am not sure what the plans are for this property and weddings, but I will find out!  You may need to be a member to host an event? I am hoping it will be open to outside event planners. My wedding planning company www.bethatbrideevents.com would love to bring events to the property.. Hmmmmm.. We will see? Once again Cabo San Lucas hosts another wedding that leaves guests speechless. Weddings in Mexico are like no other weddings in the world. This beautiful event took place at Sunset da Mona Lisa, which is located in Cabo San Lucas. The restaurant sits on a cliff that jets out over the ocean. The views are breathtaking and will, for sure, have your wedding guests talking for years to come. The culture of Mexico is warm and caring. Mexicans are there to greet you with a hug a kiss…and a tequila!! LOL. Why in God’s name would you look any further for the perfect location for your destination wedding? The last time I was in the Caribbean, I was afraid  of the waitress. When I am on vacation, I want great service and smiling people around me. The first time I came to Cabo was to shoot a wedding and I remember the feeling I had was….”I must stay.” Los Cabos has a charm that draws you in and makes you think about your next trip before you have left from your first trip. Word of advice: If you think everything in Mexico is extremely cheap, or because it’s Mexico it should be almost free and people make $5 a day….Wrong!! But I will tell you this: you will never find a location in the USA like Sunset da Mona Lisa and if you did, it would be double or triple the cost. The Grande Solmar Wedding Location in Cabo San Lucas

Looking for a wedding venue in Cabo San Lucas? The Grande Solmar is a new resort that sits at Lands end in Los Cabos Mexico. This is the first time we have shot a wedding or event at the resort. I was really happy with many things. The resort has designed and designated an area just for weddings and events that is off to one side. Bravo!! Grande Solmar. Privacy is always a huge thing for me when I am suggesting wedding locations in Cabo. The biggest celebration of your life should not have resort guests in bathing suits part of your wedding guests list.. LOL . No really,  you have to think of many things before you book your venue. The wedding department was gracious and very helpful~  A special thank you to the wedding planners at Grande Solmar. Adriana you helped make it easy to capture this day! A few days before the wedding I met with the couple and the wedding staff to go over details and take a good look at the resort. I was considering cutting out coffee and diet coke.. for a flash of a second. But you would have come down from heaven and light my hair on fire to inspire me that much. Jackie and Shawn’s photos truly captured the essence of who they are and their day. I cannot even describe how it feels to Alec  and I when couples trust us with the responsibility of their wedding memories. I think I hugged them both for 10 minutes before we left!! Los Cabos Westn a very cool destination wedding location. The Westin Cabo San Lucas is great for wedding photos. The bright colored walls and pillars make for fun photography. To my friends Erin and Brandon,  you guys had a totally fun wedding! I have shared your ceremony beer idea with everyone..I will share it on this post as well. Erin and Brandon lined the ceremony chairs with buckets of ice and beers and at the end of the ceremony, before the kiss everyone saluted and drank to Mr. & Mrs Bozek! It was very a perfect way to end the ceremony and start the party. This wedding seemed stress free, everyone chilled and enjoyed the day and the night! This was a wonderfully coordinated Cabo San Lucas event. Wedding hair and makeup by Los Cabos makeup artist Suzanne Morel. And last, but not least, Matter of Taste Catering who dressed in beautiful grey dress shirts to match the event. The day was beautiful. This bride Abby was–is–extremely special to me. When we first started to chat, she had originally wanted Esperanza, and then Las Ventanas, for her destination wedding ceremony. Both venues already had bookings so we decided the best wedding venue for this very intimate and romantic wedding would at a villa…and then one villa ended up to be three villas, and the weekend was set. Beautiful villas provided by our dear friends at Cabo Villas, a.k.a. Earth Sea and Sky. Cabo Villas has almost all the villas in Cabo San Lucas that rent for events. Abby I loved from the very start. If you look at the photos you will see she is so full of love, it just cannot be contained. An extremely smart and detailed bride that was on top of everything. I loved working with her and will miss our phone calls. The wedding weekend started with a beautiful rehearsal dinner at Edith’s Restaurant, then the wedding day was at Villa de los Suenos, followed by a farewell brunch the next day. I am looking forward to seeing Abby and Omar very soon! And to the mother and father of the bride, Becky and Gus, you both will be long-lasting friends. Dinner in Cabo is a must for all of us. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico Westin. The Westin in Los Cabos is one of the most colorful wedding venues in town. Everywhere you look is a great photo opportunity. Alec and I had so much fun at this wedding! Lauren and Patrick, bride and groom extraordinaire,†Alec and I love, love, love you both! This wedding felt like I was shooting a family wedding. I also had the chance to meet a wonderful person and amazing wedding planner from Chicago. Ashley Smith, love working with you Ashley! The Westin is a large resort and I never really gave it a chance because I am drawn to smaller resorts for weddings. I love the intimate feeling of small wedding venues. But I have changed my mind about the Westin as a Cabo wedding venue. If you’re having a wedding of 50 or more, this is a venue to look at. The price points are really great and you have to check out Arrecife’s Restaurant!! This Restaurant is super cool and you can party late. It’s 100% private and sits high on a cliff above the ocean with amazing views. The photos on the Westin’s website do not do it justice. It’s much better in person and usually this in not the case. The Sheraton Hacienda del Mar is located in Los Cabos, Mexico. It is one of the few resorts in Cabo San Lucas that has the old world Mexico flare. If you are looking for a wedding location that really feels like Mexico, this wedding venue maybe for you. The resort has many cozy areas with fountains and beautiful Mexican tile. The beach in front is also great for photographs. The Sheraton Hacienda del Mar is located in the private community of Cabo del Sol. Karen and Joe had a great wedding. The first time I spoke to Karen she said to me, “I want my friends and family to have a really good party.” And I want great photos! Mission accomplished. When Alec and I left, the party was just getting started. This was a wedding you wanted to be invited to! This wedding was coordinated by Yarai from “Be That Bride Events.“†Yarai has a huge heart made of pure gold! I have never seen this wonderful Cabo San Lucas wedding planner stressed, she is always smiling, while juggling. I am proud to have her as part of our team. Valentines day! A special post, to honor L.O.V.E

Love is grand!! Don’t  make it so complicated. You feel it or you dont. You cannot “kind of ” L.O.V.E. You love them or you dont. If you ever say to your self( I kind of love it?) regarding wedding shoes or wedding flowers or wedding photographer etc. .  Holy shit move on! When planning your wedding, make a deal with your self. L.O.V.E. everything or make a choice not to care. I want to share some photos that I L.O.V.E. !! And the things I love the most.

#1. My husband Alec: He is my light, my life, my hero, my inspiration. He encourages and pushes me to be better everyday some times every hour. Not a day gos by that he dos not tell me I am a beautiful talented person.His love is like no other.
#2. My children, Nicolette and Liam: Human beings on this earth that shine! Both of them are true and pure spirits. Kind and loving to the core. No matter what I do in my life, its not worth it if I am not a good mom.

#3.My Family: I will name them My Mom Iris, My Dad David, Brothers ready for this?? Ron, Jeff, Michael, Mark David. Sisters,Pamela, Kimanne,Kristi. Yes we are 11. They have supported the artist in me 100% from my earliest memory. I have never in my life felt un- loved. They are kissers and huggers.

#4.My work: I have a job because 2 people fell in L.O.V.E.!!

#5.Dancing: I must dance everyday!! I dance in my kitchen , I dance with my baby son, I dance at weddings! I am dancing right know at my computer! Music would be #5b

#6.People:I love you: Young , Old, Happy, Grumpy, White Black , Yellow, Fat , Skinny! You name it. I stay away from”mean spirited” people, they screw up my MoJo!! LOL

#7.The Color soft pink.. Maybe its the Ballerina in me?

#8.Movie popcorn: Nothing like it!

#9.A full day off: Watching movies, eating take out food, brain dead with Alec! I could use one of those days soon!

#10.The Beach: Something about the energy of the ocean. Its strong but calm. I love my feet in the sand and the water. I am blessed with a house by the beach.

My love of Esperanza Resort in Cabo Mexico.  You will understand after you see this wedding. When I think of a destination wedding in Mexico, I always think of Esperanza. The resort is upscale and yet totally relaxed. I loved the style and feeling of this wedding! Lisa and Brad did it right. Before you pick your wedding colors or decide on a wedding theme,  you need to choose a wedding location. The wedding flowers and design of this wedding was create by ” Pina”  It could not have been more perfect. Simple yet completely elegant. The earthy looking chuppa matched the feeling of the beach. The wedding bouquet was just the right size. The quality of the flowers  in the bouquet was top notch and the finishing unique”the perfect bouquet”  BIG pointer: The one place to focus your flower budget on is your personal bouquet. Your bouquet will be in many photos and should be considered as carefully as your jewelry. When I hear brides say” I am on a flower budget” or ” I  do not care so much for flowers”  I say this. Use a small amount of quality flowers and make sure your bouquet is finished off nicely. I am really excited to post this wedding,  it rocks! When You start planning your Cabo San Lucas destination wedding, the very first thing you need to do is. Call me or Email me.. hahhaha! I promise to point you in the right direction. Cabo San Lucas has beautiful resorts and wedding venue for every budget. I have my favorites and Sunset Da Mona Lisa is for sure on my list. Take a look at these photos. Where in the world do you get this breathtaking view? Diana and Aleem had a beautiful Los Cabos wedding. The sunset was as usual enchanting on This December evening. The couple was fun and easy to shoot. When planning your wedding at Sunset Da Mona Lisa the key is having the ceremony at just the right time. Warning:Do not even think about printing your invitation without asking your photographer what time the ceremony should be. Every location in Cabo has a different sunset time depending on the location of the mountains and the buildings and time of year. In many locations the actual look and feeling of Sunset maybe 20 minutes before sunset. How important are your photos are to you? I had some one say many photographers just “Go with the flow” Ha!! We DO NOT go with the flow if the flow is wrong.  A ceremony 30 minutes to late can be the end of those great photos. Alec and I normally schedule about 30-40 minutes alone with the bride and groom. We move very fast. Its the biggest celebration of your life why would you want to rush it? Take your time enjoy your day stress free. Diana and Aleem did just that and it was a perfect day!~xoxox T

A beautiful Cabo San Lucas wedding! Los Cabos wedding venue, Me Cabo by Melia. Angela and Robert your Cabo San Lucas wedding video will follow these beautiful wedding photos. When Angela and I spoke on the phone I instantly like her! she was gracious and kind.  I knew Alec and I would be able to photograph her beautifully (with out seeing her)  I am very blunt when I talk to couples regarding venues and basically everything, regarding their wedding in Cabo.  Normally I would say this about Me Cabo.. Oh no!  They have loud music and no privacy the craziest beach in Cabo. I was very nervous for taking this wedding I  let the couple know that I would be in contact with the resorts wedding planner. Alec and I can only do so much to make your event look beautiful in photos, with out the help of the  resort wedding planners. Let me stop..  And tell you about “Adriana Carreto” the special event manager of Me Cabo!! Whom I never had the chance to thank until this minute!!  I put a photo  below of the beach and the ceremony set up, so you could witness what she did for this couple!! She was unreal, and  busted her A~ butt for this wedding. I tip my hat to Adriana. I have a very high standard for wedding professionals and I do not pass compliments unless I think the job is done above normal standard. Angela and Robert I am very happy for you both . Take a look at this Los Cabos wedding! If you read my blog,  you already know That Esperanza resort in Cabo San Lucas is my all time favorite wedding location! This venue is unreal for weddings. I wish everyone had the wedding budget for the resort!  Its worth every single dime. Feel free to call me and I will give a complete run down on the venue!!  Dawn and Paul defiantly know how to throw a party. The first phone call I had with Dawn she was planning a 11/11/11 wedding. I was already booked on 11/11/11 at Esperanza. No way!! I wanted to shoot her wedding so so bad! I knew after 10 minutes of talking to Dawn she would have a fun wedding and I really wanted to be apart of it. After a few minor date adjustments.. I think 3 Lol.. the date was set and we made it happen. The wedding details and flowers by Elena Damy. Suzanne Morels beautiful linen designs. Beautiful wedding coordination by Martha and Sarai at Signature weddings!  The wedding officiant was the amazing Marco. The band “NRG” was flown in from San Diego ,they had me dancing the whole night. Everything worked. As we editing the video I found myself  hanging on to every word that Minister  Marco said during the ceremony. Marco is always great but this wedding he was better then ever. Its the ultimate compliment when a couple changes their date for Alec and I!! Thank You!!  In return we wanted to make sure that we did not miss a thing, that the emotion and the beauty of this day would be forever frozen in time so Paul and Dawn could relive the event for years to come. Alec and I have shot over 30 weddings at Sunset da Mona Lisa and still, to this day, look at the new weddings and just cannot get over the photos that are produced at this wedding location. This wedding is one of my favorite Sunset da Mona Lisa weddings! The light was beautiful, the sky was perfect, and the couple…I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful to work with. We had instant chemistry with Jennifer and Paul. Jennifer told me her story of finding this blog and photos from the venue and knowing in her heart that this would be the place she would have her wedding!! Sunset da Mona Lisa has one of the most dramatic sunsets I have ever seen. It’s a great location for a small wedding or a complete restaurant buyout for larger weddings and events. There are several resorts within five minutes of the venue! The key to great wedding photos in this location is timeline, timeline, timeline. Off by five minutes, and you will miss the dramatic photos. I am happy to blog with this wedding as my first wedding blog of 2012!! Some brides are beautiful and sweet or funny and full of life.  Other brides are regal and elegant. Then you have ” Taylor”  if you look up sexy in the dictionary I am sure it says ” Taylor”  I believe that sexy is a state of mind and the camera lens needs to be in-tune with capturing it! This is one of the keys to good wedding photography! Capturing the emotion and essence in a beautiful way. As a wedding photographer I have pure – real emotion right in front of me and its my job to not miss it. Everyone wants breathtaking beautiful photos and trust me we are going to make sure everyone gets breath taking beautiful photos. Sunset Da Mona Lisa Los Cabos Wedding Venue, Photography By Alec and T.

Last year, I had three different brides tell me they had not even considered Mexico as their destination wedding. Then they ran across my blog and found the wedding photos of Sunset da Mona Lisa. And that was it…Mexico here we come!! The photos from this Cabo wedding venue are breathtaking. The venue is a little tricky to capture if you are not careful as a photographer. It has extreme back light, nowhere to hide from the sun on a bright day, and can be very windy at certain times of the year. On the other hand, it has unreal views, the breeze feels cool on hot days and the sunset is like no other place in Cabo San Lucas, or maybe the world!! Alec and I have figured out how to make it work like a charm every time. Sometimes think I could photograph this beautiful and enchanting†Los Cabos wedding location with my eyes closed and hands tied behind my back. Hahaha that was a joke. Cabo San Lucas is a very popular destination wedding location for many reasons: 1.) It’s beautiful; 2.) it’s safe; and, 3.) it specializes in beautiful weddings. The list can go on forever. Melissa and I had many e-mails back and forth. We communicated on a personal level about everything. I will miss you Melissa! Usually when I ask brides ”why Cabo,” they tell me a few different things: 1.) “I don’t want a traditional wedding”; 2.) “If my wedding was local, it would be huge and I want something intimate”; or 3.) “I want those photos…” I am not kidding, I hear it all the time…I want those photos! Ok let’s chat about the photos. If Alec and T is not in your budget or booked and you want great photos, you better have a chat with your photographer and more than your photographer–your wedding planner. Why your wedding planner, you ask?  Because your wedding planner will make your timeline. If your timeline is wrong and your photos do not take place during the proper light, you will not get those photos. If your wedding planner puts the Chuppa 3 feet from the first row of chairs, good luck getting any nice photos. These great photos do not happen by chance, they happen because of communication between the bride, the photographer, and the wedding planner. Ok got that off my chest. LOL. This beautiful Cabo San Lucas  destination wedding took place at the Hacienda Beach Club.Talk about an amazing wedding venue for photographs! And the food is in my opinion some of the best in Cabo. Never in my life have I had a better ceviche  as the Hacienda green ceviche! The photo opportunities of this venue are endless. The Hacienda Beach Club sits on one of Cabo busiest beaches, Medano beach. But, it is the last restaurant on the beach and has villas in between the other restaurants  and resorts so you do get privacy. Sarah and Tim had a perfectly private ceremony!! Thank You!! It was a wonderful Los Cabos  wedding planned by “Amy Abbott Events”  Perfect floral designs by Cabo San Lucas Florist ” Pina” and Cabo wedding Hair and Make-up by Suzanne Morel. Number one, you must hire a wedding planner; do not even think about doing it with out one, even if you own the villa. Contact me, I will direct you. Number two, find that perfect villa. Alec and I work hand-in-hand with Cabo Villas and we have a long, beautiful relationship with the company and trust them completely. I believe the benefits of a villa wedding outweigh the extra work and if you’re a wedding planner that is on top of everything, you should not feel a thing. LOL. I am all about privacy and intimacy and Villa Events provide you with both. Villa Cielito is located in Cabo San Lucas corridor, about 15 minutes from downtown Cabo. It has 7 bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms and sleeps 16, one of the few villas you can stay up late and dance all night! Praise God for no neighbors. Sara and Caden could not have been a nicer couple, super easy going and a joy to photograph.I think the photos of this wedding captured the day perfectly! Rachel Hansen is getting married in Cabo San Lucas! Woohoo congratulations.! Rachel is a local Cabo San Lucas wedding planner and has been coordinating weddings for several years in Mexico. Alec and I have worked with her many times. When she called us and asked us to shoot her wedding I was honored, and really happy for her. But booked. Alec and I are extremely loyal and have never missed or replaced ourselves on a wedding in our entire history, Rachel totally understood.  We figured out a way we could still shoot some great photos for Rachel and Ro .This session was 2 hours long. We picked some great locations around Cabo San Lucas and came up with these beautiful engagement photos. It was totally relaxing and a great chance to get to know Ro, who is warm and kind and perfect for Rachel. When I was picking the blog photos I picked 80 and had to narrow it down to the photos below. This was an amazing and very fun shoot! xoxo T

This Mexico destination wedding took place at Fiesta Americana resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. .Whom ever is in charge of hiring at the Fiesta Americana resort in Cabo rocks!  The staff at the resort is wonderful, they seem to hire really great people. When its your wedding you should be surrounded by smiles and competent hotel staff and at the Fiesta Americana that’s what you get. I am a true believer everything stems from the top. A resort with happy staff must have a happy management or maybe just smart! LOL.. Alec and I have shot over 10 weddings at the resort and every time we leave commenting about how great everyone at the resort is. So that’s half the battle the other one is the food and the food has always been good! The locations for weddings( the wedding sites) have a very private feel. I am all about privacy. The rooms are a bit older and not super glamorous, but they are nice, especially in relationship to the cost. All in all its a  wedding venue option, for sure worth looking into. You can pay twice as much at a few other resorts and not get the wedding location feeling. Its on my list!

When Rita first contact me back in March she did not have a venue set in stone yet and we talked several times about a few different options. I think Rita and Erik made the perfect choice. This was one of the happiest couples we have shot. I do not think they stopped laughing and smiling the entire day and night. It was a wonderful wedding to witness. Alec and I left this wedding feeling really great and super happy for this couple. I am sure we will see them again soon in Cabo! Much love Alec and T.
