I walked away from this  Cabo San Lucas wedding enriched by both of them. OHHHH  just look at the way he is looking at her in this first photo and she is feeling him! That is it,  that is what good wedding photography is all about. Cabo Wedding Photographer Alec and T. Mexico destination wedding at Barcelo Resort

Cabo San Lucas is a very popular destination wedding location for many reasons: 1.) It’s beautiful; 2.) it’s safe; and, 3.) it specializes in beautiful weddings. The list can go on forever. Melissa and I had many e-mails back and forth. We communicated on a personal level about everything. I will miss you Melissa! Usually when I ask brides ”why Cabo,” they tell me a few different things: 1.) “I don’t want a traditional wedding”; 2.) “If my wedding was local, it would be huge and I want something intimate”; or 3.) “I want those photos…” I am not kidding, I hear it all the time…I want those photos! Ok let’s chat about the photos. If Alec and T is not in your budget or booked and you want great photos, you better have a chat with your photographer and more than your photographer–your wedding planner. Why your wedding planner, you ask?  Because your wedding planner will make your timeline. If your timeline is wrong and your photos do not take place during the proper light, you will not get those photos. If your wedding planner puts the Chuppa 3 feet from the first row of chairs, good luck getting any nice photos. These great photos do not happen by chance, they happen because of communication between the bride, the photographer, and the wedding planner. Ok got that off my chest. LOL. On a different note, Melissa and Garret, your wedding was a joy to be a part of! I will miss you both. Please hug every single member of your great bridal party. We all had fun.  xooxo T

Another great Sunset Da Mona Lisa wedding. Or should I say another amazing Los Cabos destination wedding. Veronica contacted us over 1 year ago, she was surfing the internet when she came across our blog and saw some photos of Sunset Da Mona Lisa. Veronica and Paul had originally had another country in mind! and had never even been to Mexico. Thank U for the internet and a very resourceful bride. We were meant to be! We spent the next year building a wonderful relationship, talking about everything. Some times its sad when the wedding is actually over, after getting to know someone for so long and being involved in the planning and the build up to the day.Veronica and Paul congratulations! Wedding at Capella Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas ALEC and T. PHOTOGRAPHY

Cabo San Lucas destination wedding at beautiful Capella Pedregal, in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. Capella is a one of a kind  high end wedding venue. The very unique architectural design and beautiful interior design lends itself to a unforgettable event. My brother is an amazing architect, when ever I see something unique I think of him and what he would say. To make your grand entrance into the resort you must drive through the famous Capella tunnel, this in its self is very impressive and creates an drum roll in your mind.. Or at least mine. LOL  Alec and I have photographed  many weddings in every luxury resort in Cabo, This was the first wedding Alec and I have shot at Capella. I think the photos will speak for themselves! Wow what a beautiful wedding. OK lets talk about the most important thing..The Bride.. Chelsea I would like to clone you! I remember getting an email from her and then requesting a phone call.( I always make sure to talk on the phone with everyone interested in hiring Alec and I) It wasn’t 5 minutes before we were talking and it wasn’t 5 minutes after that we knew that we were a match. Chelsea was in Las Vegas..I cant believe I remember all this, but she stuck in my mind as a person with no grey area and 100% sure of what she wants. God I love that!! Long story short, Skip to the wedding day. Alec and I arrived and were met by the enchanting smiling of Cecelia the resorts staff wedding coordinator, who by the way seems to do everything with ease.We adore her!!  The event went off with out a single bump in the road. Chelsea was calm and radiant, Marc absolutely in love and enjoying every minute of the day and evening. This wedding was fun they danced non stop up until the time we left. This was a wedding that I was happy to be invited to. This was a great event! I cannot thank Chelsea and Marc enough  for having us, for allowing us to be apart of such a special day in their lives! There really are no words for how thrilled we are to have chosen Alec & T to photograph/video our wedding. From the moment I spoke to T on the phone about our wedding, I knew I had to have her there. Her energy is contagious and her enthusiasm palpable. What an extreme bonus to meet Alec and learn that he has it too! We are so blessed to have had pleasure of Alec & T as our wedding photographers/videographers. They made our nerves melt away from the moment they entered the scene and made us feel like ours was the only wedding on earth. Their ability to get us to relax, get amazing shots, efficiently use the time, and make it all fun in the process is truly a gift. I have been to so many weddings I’ve lost count and never have I experienced a photography team that was so present yet so unobtrusive. My mother used to be a professional photographer and she was blown away by the ease at which you moved throughout the evening. You made it extremely fun and we felt like supermodels for a day! Cabo Azul resort does it again! What a great destination wedding venue. This very cool resort is a must see when planning your Cabo wedding. I have said it before and I will say it again, This resort is hip and has a young fresh feeling to it. Cabo Azul is famous for its totally unique open air wedding chapel, Its a great option for brides that do not want a beach ceremony ! Aubrey and Nishant had a beautiful group of wedding guests that traveled from all around the world. I think 2 of the best wedding speeches I have heard in a long time. I always say that you can tell a lot about the couple by the bridal party! And this group was wonderful! It was a complete joy to be apart of this day.

Cabo wedding planners.  I have brides ask me all the time this question. Do I need a wedding planner? What wedding coordinator do you and Alec suggest? What if the resort has a wedding planner do I still need to use an independent company. My answer is always this.Tell me about your wedding?  And then what resort? Many of the resorts have amazing planners and other resort wedding planners are just to busy. The planners at the resorts are not there to make your fishing reservations or pack your gift bags! So depending on how resourceful you are you may need an outside wedding coordinator. Alec and I work with almost everyone in town and of coarse have out favorites! depending on your wedding your personality and your needs is how we suggest a wedding coordinator in Cabo. Some planners in Cabo are extremely seasoned and have designed 100s of weddings.  Others are very creative and specialize in higher end. And then others that are great at just the basic guide you help out on the day of. Depending on your wedding needs and your budget.

ONE and ONLY Palmilla Wedding Venue Cabo Mexico ALEC and T. PHOTOGRAPHY

One & Only Palmilla weddings are on my list of Cabos best wedding venues. The Mexico destination wedding location is visited by the rich and famous and considered to be the premiere resort of Mexico. Alec and I have shot several weddings at this location and beleive the property just gets better with every new wedding. Angie and Randy could have been photographed anywhere and looked amazing! So now we put them in Mexico’s number 1 resort, dress them like prince and princess and forget it,  how could we possible do anything but magic. The wedding flowers took my breath away floral designs by Elena Damy located in Cabo San Lucas.  The wedding ceremony was officiated by Cabo San Lucas Minister Marco the Minister And once again Marco had just the perfect words to make you laugh and cry ( always great for photos! and even better for a life time of memories ) We feel very blessed to have met this great, kind and loving couple! Villa weddings in Cabo! Choosing a villa as your wedding venue is a great option. If privacy and intimacy is your goal I think you cant go wrong. Cabo is known for its amazing villas for rent. Jim and Jody had contacted me many months ago and talked about the option of a villa wedding it was very exciting I just adored them both. Then one day I got a phone call and Jody informing me some issues had arrived and the wedding would be canceled.  This was 1 month prior wedding date .. I said NO NO NO!! The wedding must go on, you have your dress,  your shoes your villa,  your friends and family ( what else do you need??)  Like the story of Cinderella all my friends jumped into gear #1 Matter of Taste Catering designed an amazing menu arranged for the tables and chairs and many details like the very cool fireworks show. Then Rene from Cabo Floral designs, truly a master, created the flowers and the ceremony set up.  Suzanne Morel hair and Make up and Suzanne Morel Linens and Things and More,  came up with the perfect tables, Jorge the Minister came to the rescue to perform a beautiful ceremony. The music, the cake, the time-line… Everything was put together in a few weeks and the wedding went off PERFECT!!  Jody and Jim enjoyed every minute of the day, I was so excited when Jody told me she had 2 dresses and 1 of those was jumping in the ocean Wooohoo!! MESS THE DRESS. This couple went into the ocean with total passion and joy no inhibitions at all.  It was a warm Cabo day..I wished I could have jumped in!!
