This magnificent Cabo San Lucas wedding venue is a restaurant  ” Sunset Da Mona Lisa”  Located 10minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas. I must get about 5 emails a week asking about the venue. I am a good person to ask!  LOl.  Alec and T Photography has shot over 50 weddings at the venue and Be That Bride Events has planned around 10 this last year. The venue offers several different options as far as weddings and events. You can do a whole buy out ( I suggest if over 60 guests ) Or you can just block certain terraces. The beach below is a bit of a hike~ but I have never had anyone complain,  for photos its 100% worth it!  Alec & I love working at the venue , the staff feels like family. This venue is not easy to photograph. The back light is hard to manage, but when its done correctly WOW!! this is what you get!!  Rachel and Marty contacted us about 10 months before their wedding. Cabo Wedding Venue, Sunset Da Mona Lisa. How do you choose a wedding location? The million dollar question. Its usually the most difficult when you cannot jump on a plane and come for a site visit. So what should you do? You should get advice some someone who understands the differences in the local venues.  And is willing to tell you the truth.  If I have you on the phone, I will ask you a million questions , then guide you to the resort that best fits with your budget and your vision. For instance if you want a “Beach Ceremony” some resorts are better then others.  If you want a ceremony NOT on the beach,  but with a great view, then others will work.  Some resorts are great for vacations or your room blocks, but the actual event… hmmm.. …Many Cabo San Lucas  Wedding venues, just rock and roll at everything! One & Only Palmilla Los Cabos Beautiful Chapel Wedding

This One and Only Palmilla wedding is very special to me. The Bride Ashley and the Groom Adam will forever be in our hearts. Ashley contacted me in March 2 months before her wedding, she was just starting her wedding planning. We talked for the longest time about everything in Cabo. I knew that she was going to be wonderful to work with. Sometimes in life you meet certain people that just click with you in seconds, Ashley was one of those. With in about a week she was on a plane with Adam. They had their hearts set on a different resort in Cabo.. And then the day before they left they saw the chapel. It  really was the perfect location for this couples wedding.The event was beautiful~As always its a pleasure to work with Arianna the resorts wonderful wedding planner. The event was beautiful. The floral designs were create by Pina. I loved how she tied in the buttons from Adams uniform jacket to the bridal bouquet. Ashley’s hair and make up by Suzanne Morel Ashley and Adam Congratulations! We are  looking forward to seeing both of them again soon! Alec and T.

Weddings in Mexico are like no other weddings in the world. This beautiful event took place at Sunset da Mona Lisa, which is located in Cabo San Lucas. The restaurant sits on a cliff that jets out over the ocean. The views are breathtaking and will, for sure, have your wedding guests talking for years to come. The culture of Mexico is warm and caring. Mexicans are there to greet you with a hug a kiss…and a tequila!! LOL. Why in God’s name would you look any further for the perfect location for your destination wedding? The last time I was in the Caribbean, I was afraid  of the waitress. When I am on vacation, I want great service and smiling people around me. The first time I came to Cabo was to shoot a wedding and I remember the feeling I had was….”I must stay.” Los Cabos has a charm that draws you in and makes you think about your next trip before you have left from your first trip. Word of advice: If you think everything in Mexico is extremely cheap, or because it’s Mexico it should be almost free and people make $5 a day….Wrong!! But I will tell you this: you will never find a location in the USA like Sunset da Mona Lisa and if you did, it would be double or triple the cost. Los Cabos Destination Wedding Casa Dorada Resort, Ceremony at Cabo Catholic Church

A Casa Dorada wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Diana and Tim” Whom I love past the moon” emailed me almost a year before their wedding. They were in the very early stages of their wedding planning. Diana and I went back and forth on many wedding related things and soon became fast friends. When I met them for the first time it was in July, I think we talked for more then 2 hours  and the only reason we stopped is because I had another meeting and was running late. I knew that Tim and Diana would have amazing photos! When you are hiring a wedding photographer it is so important to get on the phone. Have a conversation for a few minutes.  Chemistry is important, the camera lens does not lie. hopefully you will like the person that is pointing a camera at you. I am excited to post this blog! Beautiful Los Cabos Wedding Location Sunset Da Mona Lisa, Best Cabo Resturaunt

When You start planning your Cabo San Lucas destination wedding, the very first thing you need to do is. Call me or Email me.. hahhaha! I promise to point you in the right direction. Cabo San Lucas has beautiful resorts and wedding venue for every budget. I have my favorites and Sunset Da Mona Lisa is for sure on my list. Take a look at these photos. Where in the world do you get this breathtaking view? Diana and Aleem had a beautiful Los Cabos wedding. The sunset was as usual enchanting on This December evening. The couple was fun and easy to shoot. When planning your wedding at Sunset Da Mona Lisa the key is having the ceremony at just the right time. Warning:Do not even think about printing your invitation without asking your photographer what time the ceremony should be. Every location in Cabo has a different sunset time depending on the location of the mountains and the buildings and time of year. In many locations the actual look and feeling of Sunset maybe 20 minutes before sunset. How important are your photos are to you? I had some one say many photographers just “Go with the flow” Ha!! We DO NOT go with the flow if the flow is wrong.  A ceremony 30 minutes to late can be the end of those great photos. Alec and I normally schedule about 30-40 minutes alone with the bride and groom. We move very fast. Its the biggest celebration of your life why would you want to rush it? Take your time enjoy your day stress free. Diana and Aleem did just that and it was a perfect day!~xoxox T

I could not be happier for Tiffany and Gary! This was truly the most amazing celebration of their life’s!!  The emotion of the day brought me to tears several times. This Cabo Azul wedding was in the planning for over 1 year.  I met Tiffany in November of 2010. Cabo Destination Wedding, Cabo Del Sol Club House By Alec and T.Photography

The Cabo Del Sol Club House is a wonderful wedding venue. It’s located in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, about 10 minutes from downtown Cabo. Next door to the Club House is the Sheraton Hacienda resort and Fiesta Americana resort, great options for your wedding guests to stay. Cabo Del Sol Club House offers a few different ceremonial site locations, all private and with wonderful ocean views. If you are considering a beach or sand ceremony the club house has an extremely private beach. All beaches in Mexico are public; this beach has limited access so it feels private. It is a Los Cabos wedding venue to consider. Michael and Michelle’s wedding was coordinated by Cabo Del Sol’s event manager Luz Maria. She’s known for her never ending smile and happy-go-lucky attitude. We love her!  Alec and I had the chance to have Michael and Michelle over to our home before their wedding. It’s so great to get to know people on one-on-one before the event if possible (even if it’s just a few phone calls) The wedding day was wonderful and the wedding photos were spectacular. Sunset Da Mona Lisa has a special place in my heart. Alec and I really understand the light and how the light works in this venue. We have not shot a single wedding at this venue that we have not just loved the photos.This was a very windy day in Cabo and it still worked beautifully. We also have a wonderful working relationship with David the events manager. The Pueblo Bonito resorts in Cabo have 4 different location for weddings, Sunset Beach, Pacifica, Rose and Blanco. Alec and I have shot several weddings at these Cabo wedding venues. The wedding planner Laura Ortiz is always a joy to work with.Destination weddings require more help from wedding planners then local weddings.Thank you Laura!! Your hard work does not go unnoticed. I met Meredith and her Mother a few months before the wedding, it was a great meeting, we had perfect chemistry. I loved some of the creative ideas Meredith had for her wedding, and knew we would have fun shooting the day. I was very sad to hear that Merediths mom last minute was ill and could not make the event. This makes the photos even more important to document the day with true emotion! When I look at the photos I think Merediths mom will be over joyed! I think that Cory and Meredith for sure will love them.Thank you both! Another great Wedding at the Hilton! The Hilton is becoming one of my favorite wedding locations in Cabo San Lucas. Alec and I have shot weddings in almost every venue in Los Cabos. And of course have our favorites! I think choosing a wedding venue is possibly the most important decision you will make when planning your wedding. And then choosing your photographer LOL, I had to say that!!!! Alec and I have been accused of making venues look way better then they actually are, so you may want to talk to me before you go off my blog photos. I’m brutally honest. I sometimes think wow how brave it is to pick a venue off of a website. I do have a soft spot for Gaby the Hiltons wedding planner, Alec and I have worked with Gaby on over 20 weddings she has coordinated tons of weddings and really gets the job done. Stephanie first contacted me the first of May 2010. I was looking at the emails we had back and forth, almost 50! When I arrived and met her for the first time it felt as if I knew her for ever. Wedding photography if done correctly is very personal. Its really hard to just show up cold and photograph one of the most important days of your life …If I do not know whats important to you. Villa Del Palmar Resort Wedding in Cabo San Lucas By ALEC and T.

Tessa and Danny’s Cabo wedding took place at Villa Del Palmar beach resort it is part of the Villa Group Resort in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. The resort sits on the famous Medano Beach. A beach that is normally not good for weddings.. its just way to busy with sunbathing tourists! When I arrived,  I was really impressed how the resort not only roped off the area but put beautiful signs up asking hotel guests to respect the intimacy of the wedding. The sand was raked and the ceremony site felt totally private! Thank you Shearim!! Cabo San Lucas destination wedding at beautiful Capella Pedregal, in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. Capella is a one of a kind  high end wedding venue. The very unique architectural design and beautiful interior design lends itself to a unforgettable event. My brother is an amazing architect, when ever I see something unique I think of him and what he would say. To make your grand entrance into the resort you must drive through the famous Capella tunnel, this in its self is very impressive and creates an drum roll in your mind.. Or at least mine. LOL  Alec and I have photographed  many weddings in every luxury resort in Cabo, This was the first wedding Alec and I have shot at Capella. I think the photos will speak for themselves! Wow what a beautiful wedding. OK lets talk about the most important thing..The Bride.. Chelsea I would like to clone you! I remember getting an email from her and then requesting a phone call.( I always make sure to talk on the phone with everyone interested in hiring Alec and I) It wasn’t 5 minutes before we were talking and it wasn’t 5 minutes after that we knew that we were a match. Chelsea was in Las Vegas..I cant believe I remember all this, but she stuck in my mind as a person with no grey area and 100% sure of what she wants. God I love that!! Long story short, Skip to the wedding day. Alec and I arrived and were met by the enchanting smiling of Cecelia the resorts staff wedding coordinator, who by the way seems to do everything with ease.We adore her!!  The event went off with out a single bump in the road. Chelsea was calm and radiant, Marc absolutely in love and enjoying every minute of the day and evening. This wedding was fun they danced non stop up until the time we left. This was a wedding that I was happy to be invited to. This was a great event! I cannot thank Chelsea and Marc enough  for having us, for allowing us to be apart of such a special day in their lives! There really are no words for how thrilled we are to have chosen Alec & T to photograph/video our wedding. From the moment I spoke to T on the phone about our wedding, I knew I had to have her there. Her energy is contagious and her enthusiasm palpable. What an extreme bonus to meet Alec and learn that he has it too! We are so blessed to have had pleasure of Alec & T as our wedding photographers/videographers. They made our nerves melt away from the moment they entered the scene and made us feel like ours was the only wedding on earth. Their ability to get us to relax, get amazing shots, efficiently use the time, and make it all fun in the process is truly a gift. I have been to so many weddings I’ve lost count and never have I experienced a photography team that was so present yet so unobtrusive. My mother used to be a professional photographer and she was blown away by the ease at which you moved throughout the evening. You made it extremely fun and we felt like supermodels for a day! Everyone was sad when it was time for you to leave and I can’t tell you how many guests have commented on how fabulous & fun you were. You are the best and I can’t wait to recommend you to ANYONE I know getting married in Cabo! And maybe if we’re lucky, we can have a margarita with you at the Capella someday down the road. Wedding at Cabo Azul Resort, Los Cabos Mexico

Cabo Azul resort does it again! What a great destination wedding venue. This very cool resort is a must see when planning your Cabo wedding. I have said it before and I will say it again, This resort is hip and has a young fresh feeling to it. Cabo Azul is famous for its totally unique open air wedding chapel, Its a great option for brides that do not want a beach ceremony ! Aubrey and Nishant had a beautiful group of wedding guests that traveled from all around the world. I think 2 of the best wedding speeches I have heard in a long time. I always say that you can tell a lot about the couple by the bridal party! And this group was wonderful! It was a complete joy to be apart of this day.

This destination wedding took place at Cabo Azul resort in San Jose Del Cabo Mexico. Cabo Azul is famous for its wedding chapel and modern or what I call HIP~ design. This resort seems to attract the same type of bride and grooms modern cool and hip. I  looked up the word HIP and it means in slag.  Fashionable, Current and in the Know!! Exactly the definition for this wedding couple.  Brandon & Tracy you picked the perfect wedding location. Tracy and I had several emails back and forth and did get the chance to meet several months before the wedding! I’m so glad you both decided to hire us. Talk about detail and beautiful detail!! Everything was perfect and the work that this bride did on her own showed in every-way, the personal touches touched my heart. Alec and I shoot many weddings, I get excited for every wedding. For me the very best weddings are the ones that have attention to detail , personal detail (the little things) and personal care. Tracy made this wedding her own and it was spectacular. As a wedding photographer I feel so responsible to make sure that I capture each and every moment and every detail with much care. Alec and I do not just snap photos… Its a good pressure and we feel it before every wedding. I think that this couple will agree..Job done and job done well! Las Ventanas Destination Wedding in Cabo San Lucas ALEC and T. PHOTOGRAPHY

Spectacular Las Ventanas destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas. What a beautiful event !! A few months back on Monday morning I got a phone call from “Alan Shepherd” Wedding and Event planner from Los Angele’s saying.. Hi,  My client wants to hire you..And that was the beginning of many great emails!!  Alan,  Alec and I will adore you forever,  you crack me up and are a kick ass event planner! The day started like this.  We arrived at Las Ventanas never having met Lisa or Michael. I took one look at Michael..something about him ( you want him on your side in a court room)… I just knew Lisa was going to be a knock out. After meeting Lisa I discovered she was not only beautiful but super nice and incredible to Alec and I.  I think it took about 5 minutes to feel like friends and knew exactly how to capture this wedding.The day went by so fast it seemed as if we just arrived and the party was already starting. Las Ventanas is Alec’s favorite place to shoot weddings. The resort is white and has a bounce light that is a photographers dream also the area for ceremony’s is very clean and easy to get around. Again Marco the Marvelous Minister made everyone laugh and cry and he did this in less then 15 minutes. Lisa’s perfect hair and Make up thanks to Suzanne Morel who gets it right every time. We had a wonderful day thanks to everyone! Mostly of course this wonderful couple!!  T

Sunset Da Mona Lisa Cabo Wedding Venue by ALEC & T. PHOTOGRAPHY

Sunset da Mona Lisa is for sure one of my all time favorite wedding venues in Cabo., actually anywhere.  This was a very special wedding, It was in the planning stages for along time, WOW it was worth the wait. The wedding went off without a single bump in the road. The details I loved!!  Victoria and Fredrick both had a very upscale and formal way about them. The details in black and white and then the bright red and burnt orange accents, fit this couple perfect. Victoria and Frederik’s wedding was planned by Rachel Hanson at Infinity Weddings .  She did an great job with dressing up the restaurant, I had noticed that the pathway of the restaurant looked different and I could not point out what it was..  The day of the wedding Rachel arrived early and planted extra plants and flowers so that when Victoria walked down the path it would be perfect for her. I am all about detail ( the sum of all). We really had fun shooting the photos and the wedding video. Cheers! Alec & T
