Cabo  San Lucas  destination wedding at Barcelo resort Los Cabos ~ Don and Melissa had a beautiful  and really fun event!  Alec and I have shot many wedding at this resort and always seem to do very well . The resort is one of my favorite all inclusive resorts in town. The rooms are great and photograph really well. The resort is not overly large and  I like that.  You can host your ceremony at the gazebo shown in the photos or on the beach in the sand just in front of the gazebo. The staff is warm. I have always liked working with everyone. The food has always been good as well. I want to thank Don and Melissa for choosing Alec and I~ We enjoyed every minute!! Much Joy ~ T

This beautiful Mexico destination wedding took place at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach located in Los Cabos Mexico. Sunset Beach resort is one of the 4 famous Pueblo Bonito resorts . The Ceremony was held on the beach below and reception location was the sky pool ( breathtaking views). Megan & Nyal could not have had a better wedding.What a great group this was. We want to also thank  “Laura Ortiz” the resorts wedding planner. Alec and I have been working with Laura for about 6 years and we highly respect her. Planning a destination wedding is not the same as planning a local wedding, you will be counting on your wedding planner to do most of it for you. Many of the resort planners are extremely busy ,sometimes planning 8-20 weddings in a month and dealing with 100s of brides. When we first talked on the phone I suggested that they hire Be That Bride Events to take care of all the details. The day was completely calm and relaxed.  We started at Zoerty Casa Del Mar for a few photos before going to Sunset da Mona Lisa for the ceremony and a few more photos. A Casa Dorada wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Diana and Tim” Whom I love past the moon” emailed me almost a year before their wedding. They were in the very early stages of their wedding planning. Diana and I went back and forth on many wedding related things and soon became fast friends. When I met them for the first time it was in July, I think we talked for more then 2 hours  and the only reason we stopped is because I had another meeting and was running late. I knew that Tim and Diana would have amazing photos! When you are hiring a wedding photographer it is so important to get on the phone. My love of Esperanza Resort in Cabo Mexico.  You will understand after you see this wedding. When I think of a destination wedding in Mexico, I always think of Esperanza. The resort is upscale and yet totally relaxed. I loved the style and feeling of this wedding! Lisa and Brad did it right. Before you pick your wedding colors or decide on a wedding theme,  you need to choose a wedding location. The wedding flowers and design of this wedding was create by ” Pina”  It could not have been more perfect. Simple yet completely elegant. The earthy looking chuppa matched the feeling of the beach. The wedding bouquet was just the right size. The quality of the flowers  in the bouquet was top notch and the finishing unique”the perfect bouquet”  BIG pointer: The one place to focus your flower budget on is your personal bouquet. Your bouquet will be in many photos and should be considered as carefully as your jewelry. When I hear brides say” I am on a flower budget” or ” I  do not care so much for flowers”  I say this. Use a small amount of quality flowers and make sure your bouquet is finished off nicely. I am really excited to post this wedding,  it rocks! When You start planning your Cabo San Lucas destination wedding, the very first thing you need to do is. Call me or Email me.. hahhaha! I promise to point you in the right direction. Cabo San Lucas has beautiful resorts and wedding venue for every budget. I have my favorites and Sunset Da Mona Lisa is for sure on my list. Take a look at these photos. Where in the world do you get this breathtaking view? Diana and Aleem had a beautiful Los Cabos wedding. The sunset was as usual enchanting on This December evening. The couple was fun and easy to shoot. When planning your wedding at Sunset Da Mona Lisa the key is having the ceremony at just the right time. Warning:Do not even think about printing your invitation without asking your photographer what time the ceremony should be. Every location in Cabo has a different sunset time depending on the location of the mountains and the buildings and time of year. In many locations the actual look and feeling of Sunset maybe 20 minutes before sunset. How important are your photos are to you? I had some one say many photographers just “Go with the flow” Ha!! We DO NOT go with the flow if the flow is wrong.  A ceremony 30 minutes to late can be the end of those great photos. Alec and I normally schedule about 30-40 minutes alone with the bride and groom. We move very fast. Its the biggest celebration of your life why would you want to rush it? Take your time enjoy your day stress free. Diana and Aleem did just that and it was a perfect day!~xoxox T

When Angela and I spoke on the phone I instantly like her! she was gracious and kind.  I knew Alec and I would be able to photograph her beautifully (with out seeing her)  I am very blunt when I talk to couples regarding venues and basically everything, regarding their wedding in Cabo.  Normally I would say this about Me Cabo.. Oh no!  They have loud music and no privacy the craziest beach in Cabo. I was very nervous for taking this wedding I  let the couple know that I would be in contact with the resorts wedding planner. Alec and I can only do so much to make your event look beautiful in photos, with out the help of the  resort wedding planners. Let me stop..  And tell you about “Adriana Carreto” the special event manager of Me Cabo!! Whom I never had the chance to thank until this minute!!  I put a photo  below of the beach and the ceremony set up, so you could witness what she did for this couple!! She was unreal, and  busted her A~ butt for this wedding. I tip my hat to Adriana. I have a very high standard for wedding professionals and I do not pass compliments unless I think the job is done above normal standard. Angela and Robert I am very happy for you both . Last year, I had three different brides tell me they had not even considered Mexico as their destination wedding. Then they ran across my blog and found the wedding photos of Sunset da Mona Lisa. And that was it…Mexico here we come!! The photos from this Cabo wedding venue are breathtaking. The venue is a little tricky to capture if you are not careful as a photographer. It has extreme back light, nowhere to hide from the sun on a bright day, and can be very windy at certain times of the year. On the other hand, it has unreal views, the breeze feels cool on hot days and the sunset is like no other place in Cabo San Lucas, or maybe the world!! Alec and I have figured out how to make it work like a charm every time. Sometimes think I could photograph this beautiful and enchanting†Los Cabos wedding location with my eyes closed and hands tied behind my back. Hahaha that was a joke. Wedding Photography is never easy. It’s an extreme challenge every wedding to make sure that we do not miss anything and that the true emotion of the day is captured and preserved forever. The challenge is the fun part. Andrea and Oscar’s wedding was no exception to the rule. It was such a joy to be a part of this great couple’s wedding. Mexico destination wedding Fiesta Americana resort in Cabo San Lucas:photography By Alec and T.

This Mexico destination wedding took place at Fiesta Americana resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. .Whom ever is in charge of hiring at the Fiesta Americana resort in Cabo rocks!  The staff at the resort is wonderful, they seem to hire really great people. When its your wedding you should be surrounded by smiles and competent hotel staff and at the Fiesta Americana that’s what you get. I am a true believer everything stems from the top. A resort with happy staff must have a happy management or maybe just smart! LOL.. Alec and I have shot over 10 weddings at the resort and every time we leave commenting about how great everyone at the resort is. So that’s half the battle the other one is the food and the food has always been good! The locations for weddings( the wedding sites) have a very private feel. I am all about privacy. The rooms are a bit older and not super glamorous, but they are nice, especially in relationship to the cost. All in all its a  wedding venue option, for sure worth looking into. You can pay twice as much at a few other resorts and not get the wedding location feeling. Its on my list!

When Rita first contact me back in March she did not have a venue set in stone yet and we talked several times about a few different options. I think Rita and Erik made the perfect choice. This was one of the happiest couples we have shot. I do not think they stopped laughing and smiling the entire day and night. It was a wonderful wedding to witness. Alec and I left this wedding feeling really great and super happy for this couple. I am sure we will see them again soon in Cabo! Much love Alec and T.

What a perfect day! What a beautiful vow renewal.What a beautiful couple. Dervon and I talked over the phone several times. Dervon was planning this vow renewal as a kind of surprise for his wife Katina,  she was aware of the event but not the details. I just cannot even begin to tell you how much this man loves his wife.I would love to listen to the way he spoke about his wife, he totally treasures her and is a true romantic! Every year they do something special to celebrate their love and commitment to each other. I Think this was year 20? It was so amazing for Alec and I to witness. And yes.. Marco the marvelous minster had me in tears during the ceremony.I love my job!! Its not often that people take the time and effort to celebrate each other! And they did it right The One & Only resort in Cabo has been recognized as Mexico’s top resort for many years! Beautiful Cabo villa wedding Vista Bellena in Cabo San Lucas!! I love villa weddings and this villa is possibly my favorite!! The villa is located in Cabo Del Sol,  5 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms Sleeps 12 this beach front villa is out of this world and works perfect for weddings. Rented by my friends at  CaboVillas. Many Villas do not work for events but this one is perfect! Christie and Ricky’s destination wedding was incredibly beautiful, every thing worked! Thank You Amy Abbot events. As always we loved working with you! And amazing Floral designs from “Pina” Her work is fresh and totally creative every-time. At the very last minute Ricky talked Christie into a trash the dress session! When we finished the shoot Christie looked at me and said that was the most fun she had on her whole wedding trip! What an amazing and wonderful couple! Susanna and Matt had all ready became friends before the wedding! The relationship started off with an engagement session almost 1 year ago in Cabo, the session ended with Matt and Susanna getting side swiped by a huge wave that came out of no where! Totally soaked.. and Alec jumping 5 feet off the ground trying to save a camera.The whole thing seeming to happen in slow motion to me( I did get a great photo) It is always fun! The build up to the wedding is the part I love the most. I like to get a feel for each couple, so when we arrive to photograph the day, we have a little history to work on.Everything we do is personal and your photos cannot be if I walk in and just start snapping. I was super excited to see Susannas dress and Matt in a suit for the first time!! haha Matt you look great in a suit and I am a huge fan of the color grey it photographs perfect with the sand in Cabo and doesn’t reflect yellow in your skin. Lets talk about Cabo Del Sol! Its a location that offers many things and one being a total private ceremony and reception location! The wedding ceremony was held at San Jose’s Catholic church and the wedding reception took place at Cabo San Lucas, Hacienda Beach Club. Wedding planning was done by our dear friend Vari from (Allure Event) located in Cabo San Lucas. Thank You for everything Vari Job well done! Alec and I had the chance to shoot Sierus and Linda’s engagement photos last fall in Los Angele’s, We knew going into this wedding that this couple photographs beautiful. Linda has a smile and a laugh that is totally contagious, its impossible not to adore her! I want to make her my doctor! Imagine.. beautiful, smart always smiling and laughing,. My father always says attitude is everything in life, we wake up in the morning and we can decide to have a crappy day or a great day. Linda is one of those people that I think wakes up and decides everyday is a good one. Sierus the handsome lawyer and Linda the beautiful doctor had a dream wedding. Alec and I are the beneficiaries of this day. Some times I think ..How could you not get it right as a photographer with this combination? Life happens in a second and it happens right in front of you. I think you have to be looking for it and trust it will happen and when it does be ready for it! And that’s what we do. What a beautiful Cabo wedding! Sunset Da Mona Lisa is known for its breath taking views! I tell everyone coming to Cabo San Lucas try to make it a point to have dinner at The restaurant and arrive about 45 minutes before sunset, it really is a romantic way to spend an evening. Zahra and Shafiq contacted me at the beginning of the year. I remember talking to Zahra and hearing the total joy and excitement in her voice about her wedding. I love that! I am a very excitably person. Alec always says I will most likely be more excited about the wedding then the actual couple getting married. Lol. When I met Zahra and Shafiq for the first time it was smiles from ear to ear I think that Shafiq did not stop smiling the entire meeting, I walked away super excited to be apart of their day.The day started at Barcelo in San Jose Del Cabo where the couple got ready, The wedding ceremony and reception was held at Sunset da Mona Lisa.

Fiesta Americana wedding venue in Cabo San Lucas. Congratulations Katie and Tony! You could not have been a nicer couple.  When I first saw Katie all I could think of was this bride is a classic Brides Magazine cover model, she was sweet and fresh and absolutely beaming with joy! I wanted to keep her wedding photos in the same feeling. Every wedding we shoot takes on a life of its own and this wedding was not an exception! The event took place in the Imperial Suite at the Grand Fiesta Americana in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. Its was a beautiful event and Alec and I felt so welcomed from everyone. I always say you can tell everything about a couple by the wedding party, and this was a wonderful group!!

Tessa and Danny’s Cabo wedding took place at Villa Del Palmar beach resort it is part of the Villa Group Resort in Cabo San Lucas Mexico. The resort sits on the famous Medano Beach. A beach that is normally not good for weddings.. its just way to busy with sunbathing tourists! When I arrived,  I was really impressed how the resort not only roped off the area but put beautiful signs up asking hotel guests to respect the intimacy of the wedding. The sand was raked and the ceremony site felt totally private! Thank you Shearim!! Amazing Cabo Wedding! Best Destination Wedding in Mexico! Sunset da Mona Lisa and Cabo Del Sol Venues

What an amazing Cabo San Lucas wedding! Sunset Da Mona Lisa and Cabo Del Sol as the perfect wedding venues. Luke Greenfield ( Something Borrowed, Director) married Sarah Baldwin Los Angeles actress, in Los Cabos Mexico! To my friends Luke and Sarah, what a perfect day it was, Congratulations! Alec and I shoot over 60 weddings per year , I have to be honest..This wedding had me a bit nervous. Luke and Sarah had a clear vision for their day, it was scripted out almost to the minute. The first dance included the entire bridal party and was choreographed by the Amazing John Carrafa – Johns recent work, BRIDE WARS with Anne Hathaway, SOMETHING BORROWED with Kate Hudson, THE OTHER GUYS with Will Farrell  The thought that went into the day was like no other couple we have worked with. At first I was thinking..OK this could be a royal pain in the ass. Luke is going to make a block buster movie out of his wedding, and we are going to be responsible for shooting the photos and shooting the movie?? hmmm…Then I got to know Luke and Sarah.  Then it become a challenge and then it became a passion. Every moment of this wedding day was meaningful, it was not a pain in the ass! Just the opposite. It was an unforgettable day for Alec and I. I think these are some of the best wedding photos I have ever seen. The personality of the day is for ever preserved. Luke and Sarah,  You have made us better at what we do~ we thank you! WE LOVE U! WOOOHOOO you did it!!

Wedding at Cabo Azul Resort, Los Cabos Mexico

Cabo Azul resort does it again! What a great destination wedding venue. This very cool resort is a must see when planning your Cabo wedding. I have said it before and I will say it again, This resort is hip and has a young fresh feeling to it. Cabo Azul is famous for its totally unique open air wedding chapel, Its a great option for brides that do not want a beach ceremony ! Aubrey and Nishant had a beautiful group of wedding guests that traveled from all around the world. I think 2 of the best wedding speeches I have heard in a long time. I always say that you can tell a lot about the couple by the bridal party! And this group was wonderful! It was a complete joy to be apart of this day.

Sunset Da Mona Lisa is a wonderful Cabo wedding venue and a must see when planning a destination wedding. The views are endless and breathtaking. Alec and I have photographed many weddings at this location., and highly recommend it!! Kisha and Paul could not have been a nicer couple and we felt so honored to be able to share their day with them. Their intimate wedding was planned by Tammy from Cabo weddings . Tammy put great loving care into this day and it showed in every way. Alec and I walked away from this wedding feeling very touched by this super kind couple, One of those days when you pinch yourself and say Thank You God for allowing me to do this for a living!! T

Cabo Azul Resort Wedding AMAZING Photos By Alec and T

Great wedding at Cabo Azul Resort in Mexico. If I were to describe Cabo Azul I would start off by saying your in great hands with” Bertha” the resorts wedding planner and then I would move on to the overall feeling of the resort. The resort is black and white and has a very modern and hip feel to it. The resort can be captured in photographs very dramatic like the post below.  The chapel is a must see, if your planning a Cabo Destination Wedding and are not into a sand ceremony, Its a great option.  The rooms are all suites we love them!  As far as the food I have not had anything but fabulous food at Javier’s (Alec even loves it and hes mister picky eater) Erika and Abu  chose a great  resort that was the perfect wedding location for them. Erika and Abu’s wedding was just as I explained the resort.  Modern and hip. This couple could not do anything that wasn’t cool. As I was looking at the 100s of photos trying to pick some for the blog.  I could not help myself but to keep saying wow,wow, amazing, great!! I was driving Alec crazy. Two days after the wedding on Dec 31st we had Erika and Abu over to our home for a few shots of Alec private stash tequila and a out of this world trash the dress session ( Mess The Dress) We laughed as they brought half the beach back to the house in Erika’s wedding dress. I could not think of a better way to bring in the New Year. We send our love to your entire family! Alec and T.

Sunset Da Mona Lisa, Amazing Wedding Location in Cabo, Photos By ALEC & T.

Sunset Da Mona Lisa in Cabo San Lucas still takes my breath away!!  After shooting many many weddings at this location I still stop and take in the views.  Maria and Clayton found the location after searching the internet and running across some beautiful photos that Alec and I had posted of the venue. Maria got ready at Casa Dorada . When I walked in and took one looked at her I knew that her eyes would love the camera and the camera would love her eyes ( she photographed like a movie star from the 40s). Every bride has something that is exceptional and we focus on it, to make sure that their individual personality’s come out in the photos. And this was a no brain- er. Clayton was about as nice as you can get. So you can imagine,  once again Alec and I walk away loving what we do! Oh and did I mention?? The wedding planner was April from Baja Weddings another big plus!

I added a some Black and White photos at the end. I think the feel of the old classic look was perfect for this wedding .. but so hard to decide.. so they will get them both!

Cabo San Lucas Wedding, ESPERANZA RESORT ALEC and T. PHOTOGRAPHY

I have to start this blog with this..YEAH!!! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!  Danielle and I spent many months of emails and several phones calls talking about her  Cabo Esperanza wedding. We talked about everything,  her wedding flowers her hair and makeup. Should the ceremony be on the beach or the pool terraces? What should the guys wear? So many options and so many decisions that all ended up making the day perfect. I was extremely excited for this couple, They put so much care into the day,  I was really expecting that everything would be perfect for them.And it was!!! Weddings in the East Cape of  Mexico. When I say “East Cape” I’m talking about  approx 30 minutes from San Jose Del Cabo and about 50 minutes from Cabo San Lucas . The great benefit of  having an East Cape wedding is music , Many of the villas in Cabo have a 10 or 11 pm shut off time …The East Cape, you can pretty much party all night. I love to talk about weddings,  I could talk all day about them!! When I met Dustin for the first time over the phone we talked for over an hour, he told me about Annie his business and his children and I got his priorities instantly. When ever we are hired be anther photographer I feel honored! Thank You Annie!! When I met Annie, her eyes said it all.. I’m true..I’m beautiful.. I’m good.. I’m as loving as it gets!  Alec and I watched the wedding unfold before us and knew that we were the perfect match, to capture the true moments of the day. We also captured the wedding video,  Alec and T. wedding videos feel just like our photography, Stress free!! Wow just wait. Its all about moments in time. Cabo wedding venue Sunset Da Mona Lisa wedding photographer Alec & T.

Sunset da Mona Lisa in Cabo San Lucas is one of my favorite wedding Locations. Breath taking views and amazing sunsets!  Alec and I love this venue,  we have never shot a wedding that we did not fall over backwards when we started to edit. Emina and Sulejmans wedding was coordinated by April at  Baja Weddings highly recommended, first class Cabo wedding coordinators!!  We just finished editing the wedding video and it is just as amazing as the photos,  I will put the video up in the next few days. This was a small intimate wedding that was done with such class and elegant touches. Enima knew exactly what she wanted. The wedding colors, her choice of dress,  everything was perfect. The Sunset in Cabo was as usual heart stopping. We laughed and enjoyed everyone the entire day. I’m so happy to share these wedding photos with this beautiful couple, Thinking of you both!!! xoxoT

Fiesta Americana Los Cabos wedding photography by Alec and T.

Shana and Ben’s  destination wedding took place at Fiesta Americana resort located in Cabo Mexico.  This post is very easy for me to write.   A million great things are going through my head about this bride and groom.  I will quote the wedding planner,  April from Baja weddings ” The greatest family I have ever worked with..I LOVE THEM ALL”

I think that sums it up, but I will add a few things. Ben the groom never stopped smiling the entire day,  every time he looked at Shana his eyes would sparkle..I’m not kidding.. he was a super special guy with a heart of gold.  Shana was good from her head to her toes. Totally relaxed and ready to just enjoy her wedding ( I love that) And when I met her Mom and Dad it made perfect reasoning the apple never falls far from the tree.  This was a fairly small wedding so I had the chance to meet everyone and this group was a total and complete joy.  When I started to glance at the photos to grab some for the blog post,  I was happy for them all over again. What most people don’t know is that Alec and I get to relive every wedding as we edit the photos. The time we spend making your wedding memory’s come to life makes us  better photographers.  So thank you Shana and Ben,  we are better wedding photographers !  Big bear hugs T

Beautiful Jewish Destination Wedding at One & Only Palmilla Los Cabos Mexico

What do you get when you put this combination together??  A Groom that is a surgeon,  a Bride that is a surgeon, Sarai Flores from Signature weddings, Martha Huerta from One & Only , and yes of coarse Alec & T. Photography ?  ANSWER: A perfect wedding with all the right detail . Pretty bold statement, but true. LOL.  This Cabo San Lucas destination wedding took place at the One & Only Palmilla located in Mexico.  Alec and I have shot many Jewish weddings in the past.  But I think this ceremony was exceptional.  The traditions and the Rabbis words really touched my heart.  He talk about the relationship of the Bride and Groom with passion and conviction. I am looking forward to editing the wedding video to hear these words again. Alec and I would like to congratulate Gene and Jeannie on the exciting life they have ahead of them. To love,  to life and to future happiness!! T

Alec and I shot these great engagement photos of Stephanie and Sota a few weeks back. This photo session was about as fun as it gets and was done in about 1 hour.  Short and sweet and 100s of  perfect photos.  I don’t think I stopped laughing and running the entire time. Stephanie has become very dear to me, We have talked about her up and coming Pueblo Bonito Sunset resort wedding numerous times and the phone calls I love. Sotas smile made my heart melt, I knew the minute I saw him it was going to be a breeze of a shoot.  We are super excited to shoot their wedding photos and wedding video and Trash the Dress ( this coming May) Mostly we are thrilled to have met such a warm and beautiful couple. The One & Only Palmilla is considered to be the premier resort of Mexico! The resort lends itself for wedding photos worthy of any bridal magazine. The One & Only is a dream wedding back drop. This destination wedding was in my eyes perfect. And I have these photos as evidence. hehehehe. Audra and Brads wedding was romantic and private. The details I loved, Audra’s flowers and shoes added the perfect touches, not to mention that Brad looked like a movie star in his exquisite tuxedo. And Audra put herself together perfect, like a royal. The love that they share for each other was so easy to capture, I’m so happy that Alec and I had the chance to be apart of this day. Fiesta Americana Resort. Destination beach wedding of Jeanna and Will. Jeanna and Will ( and all the friends and family) were so much fun!  Thank you guys for making our day and night so great. It was hard for us to leave at the end.. This was the first of three scheduled weddings Alec & I have at the resort, we were really excited to see what Fiesta Americana had to offer for weddings… SCORE! the beach was beautiful as you can see I posted a photo to show how private it feels and how the rock formation in the ocean makes for fantastic photos. This wedding was coordinated by Jenny at Baja weddings and went perfectly smooth, Thanks Jen, Once again a total pro!  I cant wait for you to see all the photos. Los Cabos Mexico is a dream destination wedding location! Chad and Jen were married at a private villa in Pedergal. The ceremony was on the beach just steps away from the villa. The wedding was organized and catered by Lazy gourmet And the food was out of this world. Once again Tracy and her team did a spectacular job. Congratulations Chad and Jen!!

Pueblo Bonito Resorts in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico are a site to see!!  The 4 resorts are Pueblo Bonito Blanco, Pueblo Bonito Rose, Pueblo Bonito Sunset and Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Holistc Resort and Spa. Shown in these wedding photos. Sangeeta and Jeffs wedding ceremony was held on sand. The beach of the Pacifica Resort has a spacious completely private feeling. Its a dream for photos!! Traditionally the first dance takes place after dinner, and gets the party started. Another great idea is to do it at the very beginning of the wedding reception, right after the bride and groom are announced they break into dance.Why? Your hair and make up will be fresh and so will you for photos also you will still have everyone’s attention. And  if you only have your wedding photographer for a few hours , the wedding  first dance will be captured!!
