This particular  day the sky in Cabo San Lucas was a blush pink! It really was  impressive , as if the bride Jessica put the order in to compliment the rest of her perfect day! I have heard its the best  Private Beach Club in Mexico! I believe it!  The club can host special events up to 200 . Its a perfect spot for a destination wedding! Carly and Randy’s wedding took place in March- March in Cabo is beautiful, a month to consider when thinking about choosing your wedding date. I always here.. Whats a good time to get Married ? Its been a very long time since Alec and I have shot a wedding at Club Cascades! And it felt really great! I love the restaurant out front and had not been for a very long time. This wedding was a great surprise for us, Jenny called us just a few months before the event and we were open! The wedding was intimate.  Just very close friends and family. The groom was Ultimate Fighter CB Dollaway~ Better known as the Doberman, The bride~ beautiful Joyful Jenny. The ceremony took place on the busy beach of Medano, nobody seemed to mind. Cabo San Lucas Beautiful Gay Wedding~ By Alec and T Photography and Be That Bride Events

I have such a warm place in my heart for this amazing couple! I could not think of a better way to have spent my New Years Eve. This Los Cabos  wedding day was filled with more love then I can possibly describe. My first phone call was with Jonathan in December 2012. We went back and forth for a bit, he was thinking that they would host the wedding closer the east coast .. No Way!  They had already stolen my heart and I really needed to be apart of this wedding. Yes it all worked out in the end. The wedding ceremony took place at Cabo Del Sol and the wedding reception at Sunset Da Mona Lisa. The wedding planning was done by, our wedding planning company Be That Bride Events . Everything about this day was above and beyond beautiful. When we started the wedding planning,  the first thing we needed to do was lock in that perfect venue. We did come across a few Cabo San Lucas venues that would not allow same sex weddings… Not many, but we did run into it. One of the venues said ” We are a family friendly resort” We laughed , because Jonathan and Tad actually love kids and love their family’s. Hmm… We just moved on. The Los Cabos venues, that Tad and Jonathan chose,  could not have been more honored. This wedding will always remain special in the eyes of Alec and I~ Jonathan and Tad,  We love you both very very much~ T

I was thinking today when I posted this blog, I feel so grateful for the clients that we attract. 2012 was a year of amazing weddings and wonderful clients.  Alec and  I, have a successful business because 2 people fell in love, Thank you! Love is grand, it makes the world go around!  Weddings in Cabo are special. Mexico in general is a special country with loving giving people. If you are wondering if Cabo is safe the answer is YES. Cabo Del Sol the wedding venue is one of my favorites, Last year  Alec and T and Be That Bride Events did several weddings at the venue, all of them felt different. The location has 3  ceremony options. The Beach~ Ocean Meadows as shown  and The Old Pro Shop . The food is wonderful. If you are a foodie this could be the place for you.  But the greatest thing about this location is the staff . They are above and beyond good at what they do. Its always a pleasure to bring weddings to this venue!  Its a good idea to contact me  before you chose your venue. Cabo has several great venues! Every venue has its own wow factor . And lets “get real”  almost every venue has its cons. Maybe those cons are just … Sorry out of budget for you. No Worries Los Cabos has a resort for every budget.

Valerie OMG what a wonderful bride and friend! I started to talk to Valerie in the middle of March 2012. The very first phone call we discussed what venue would be right for her and Ryan. We talked about Esperanza, Zoetry and Cabo Del Sol . I always spend about 15 minutes on each venue and really make it easy for you to decide what will work with your budget and priority’s. Cabo Del Sol was perfect for this couple. Over the next several months everything came together with out a hitch! What a wonderful wedding to be apart of.

“L.O.V.E is without question life’s greatest experience“  Anyone that has been truly in love would agree.  I am sure of it!  Anyone that has picked up the phone and had a conversation with me”  regarding wedding photography”  will understand what I am talking about!  Your wedding photos and wedding video should represent your personality. I love it when brides send me a FEW photos from pinterest. This way I can see how they see themselves. BEWARE if you send  your photographer to many photos to copy.. Your wedding photos will be nothing but a imitation of someone else’s personality.. Why would you want that?? Really… This has only happened to Alec and I a few times.. But,  I am hearing this is becoming a trend and its driving photographers crazy. ” No creative photographer wants to copy the ideas of another photographer” The photo loses the intimate vulnerability of the moment. Its that second in time that makes one photo stand out from the rest. The look in your eyes,  the touch of a hand, the softness of a real kiss.  Do not cheat your self out of  your real photos. Wow Sexy Trash the Dress in Cabo San Lucas! Michele,  you did get your photos after all ( long story ) Michelle & Mark got married at Cabo Azul Resort.. Alec and I do NOT shoot at the resort. They went crazy for months. Then just decided to hire us for a shoot,  2 days after their wedding! GREAT idea. Check out these unreal photos (with many many more on the way) and all in less then 2 hours from start to finish with the boat ride included. We shoot really fast. These shoots are totally relaxed and 100% fun. When in your life,  do you think you will ever get the chance to do a photo shoot like this again?  They call them “Trash The Dress”  I have never really liked that name.  Alec and I have done tons of these photo shoots and the dress has always come clean. Really what are you saving it for anyway? Can you imagine wearing your moms? hahhaha!! Everyone wants to have their own dress usually~ preserve the dress on your body in photos! Have fun on the beach or in town with your husband and in return receive priceless photos that forever capture you young, free and in love!! T

Weddings in Los Cabos Mexico. Destination weddings have such an amazing feeling to them. They really are totally different then a local wedding. The very first wedding I shot a wedding in Mexico was in Cabo San Lucas, the experience was so amazingly beautiful I did not want to leave. I remember that horrible day at the airport, realizing I had to actually go back to “The Real World” LOl.. Cabo today is my real world and I cannot express how blessed I feel for  my life. When planning a destination wedding the first thing  you need to do is choose a location. Everyone asks, me about safety. The truth is I feel safer in Los Cabos then I do in Los Angele’s. The next thing is the water and the food . Well I do not drink the water out of the faucet in LA and for sure you would not drink the sink water in Cabo either. lol.. Its really just common sense. The weddings take your breath away in this beautiful town. I have my favorite venues in all different price points. Whether you are spending $5000 or $100,0000 Cabo San Lucas has a venue for you. I cannot remember in 6 years  and hundreds of weddings ever saying. “Wow, Alec that was a bad wedding” I can remember saying “Wow Alec this couple did not get value for the money they spent” Choose your resort wisely and the people you put around you. Everyone today has access to research. Most couples today get personally involved and that’s great! We are also very busy. Well a little bit of rain, earthquake and resort room catching on fire would be a good start! I was sure when I walked in Steph would be stressed. She was perfectly calm and 100% stress free. The sun was out and the ocean glistened . We do not get a lot of rain in Cabo. When we get rain, the next day is always breathtaking. look at the sky in these photos!!  I had been talking with Stephanie & Thomas for about a year. And just loved them past the moon! I was excited when they decided to also hire Be That Bride Events. The day seemed to fly by we really had fun every minute. The balloons in the photos I took home for my son Liam. Engagement photos in Los Cabos. The beautiful Cabo locations seem to be endless. We really could spend the whole day just going from one great photo location to the next. Good news is we don’t spend the whole day, the sessions are really fast about 2 hours depending on travel time. I always suggest to avoid the wedding venue you have chosen. Have 2 wardrobe changes one casual and one a bit more upscale. We do not like the wardrobe to match exactly~ but it should stay in the same color tones. Please have your hair and makeup done professionally.. Thank you Suzanne Morel for Jamie’s hair and make up it was beautiful. Engagement sessions are a great way to get to know your photographer, if you have the chance~ but not totally necessary, especially on destinations~ Sometimes its nice to have a totally different back drop. Beach wedding photos~ City engagement photos?? Totally your call . We are glad that Jamie and Justin decided on Cabo! Every time Alec and I get to be apart of a wedding at this resort, its a good day!!  The resort  is nested between 2 rock formations that creates a completely private beach out front~ a huge benefit is you are dreaming of a beach ceremony. If you do not want a beach ceremony the resort has 2 other locations I love “that do not include sand” This resort is a breathtaking! Great rooms~Food that is off the chart~Customer service that will blow you away. The resort has 57 suites and casitas,its small and intimate. perfect for high end weddings.   Monica and Patrick! How do I even start ? Monica from the very first phone call became my friend and over the past year I have gotten to love her more every time we talk. I am actually sad that this wedding is over,  I enjoyed the entire planning process with this couple. Sunset da Mona Lisa in Los Cabos Mexico.This venue is an option for a beautiful event. Sunset da Mona Lisa is a restaurant just 5 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas. The breath taking sunset and non obstructed ocean views are the main selling points of this location. Alec and I are shooting  7 weddings at the venue this summer woohoo its a busy venue for weddings. Nicholas and  Victoria’s event was coordinated by Be That Bride Events . When planning a event at the restaurant  you will need an out side wedding planner Be That Bride Events has done several weddings at the venue and is highly recommended  by Sunset da Mona Lisa for your wedding planning needs.  Another windy day in April. I have to admit the wind has never ruined a wedding, for us anyway. Challenging yes a little. Victoria and Nicholas I do not think even noticed. We had a beautiful chemistry with the entire group. Weddings in Mexico are like no other weddings in the world. This beautiful event took place at Sunset da Mona Lisa, which is located in Cabo San Lucas. The restaurant sits on a cliff that jets out over the ocean. The views are breathtaking and will, for sure, have your wedding guests talking for years to come. The culture of Mexico is warm and caring. Mexicans are there to greet you with a hug a kiss…and a tequila!! LOL. Why in God’s name would you look any further for the perfect location for your destination wedding? The last time I was in the Caribbean, I was afraid  of the waitress. When I am on vacation, I want great service and smiling people around me. The first time I came to Cabo was to shoot a wedding and I remember the feeling I had was….”I must stay.” Los Cabos has a charm that draws you in and makes you think about your next trip before you have left from your first trip. Word of advice: If you think everything in Mexico is extremely cheap, or because it’s Mexico it should be almost free and people make $5 a day….Wrong!! But I will tell you this: you will never find a location in the USA like Sunset da Mona Lisa and if you did, it would be double or triple the cost. The Grande Solmar Wedding Location in Cabo San Lucas

Looking for a wedding venue in Cabo San Lucas? The Grande Solmar is a new resort that sits at Lands end in Los Cabos Mexico. This is the first time we have shot a wedding or event at the resort. I was really happy with many things. The resort has designed and designated an area just for weddings and events that is off to one side. Bravo!! Grande Solmar. Privacy is always a huge thing for me when I am suggesting wedding locations in Cabo. The biggest celebration of your life should not have resort guests in bathing suits part of your wedding guests list.. LOL . No really,  you have to think of many things before you book your venue. The wedding department was gracious and very helpful~  A special thank you to the wedding planners at Grande Solmar. Adriana you helped make it easy to capture this day! A few days before the wedding I met with the couple and the wedding staff to go over details and take a good look at the resort. The beach out front is great and the property is really nice. feel free to contact me with any questions about the resort or any questions at all regarding wedding locations in Cabo I will gladly direct you!!  I want to talk about Jackie and Shawn, woohoo what a great day. I am not kidding Jackie changed my life. She is an inspiration to me. After shooting this wedding I was back to my sunrise beach runs and fresh juicing. I was considering cutting out coffee and diet coke.. for a flash of a second. But you would have come down from heaven and light my hair on fire to inspire me that much. Jackie and Shawn’s photos truly captured the essence of who they are and their day. I cannot even describe how it feels to Alec  and I when couples trust us with the responsibility of their wedding memories. I think I hugged them both for 10 minutes before we left!! I love you guys and I am so excited for you to see all your photos until then enjoy the blog!

What a night!!

Los Cabos Westn a very cool destination wedding location. The Westin Cabo San Lucas is great for wedding photos. The bright colored walls and pillars make for fun photography. The resort also offers a few nice wedding packages and the room rates are really reasonable.Contact me for more info I will gladly direct you to a resort that is right for you. To my friends Erin and Brandon,  you guys had a totally fun wedding! I have shared your ceremony beer idea with everyone..I will share it on this post as well. Erin and Brandon lined the ceremony chairs with buckets of ice and beers and at the end of the ceremony, before the kiss everyone saluted and drank to Mr. & Mrs Bozek! It was very a perfect way to end the ceremony and start the party. This wedding seemed stress free, everyone chilled and enjoyed the day and the night! Los Cabos Mexico, Esperanza Resort wedding 11/11/11

I prayed that my 11/11/11 wedding would be with family and friends!! Prayers come true…or at least, this one did. Esperanza is my resort of choice. When Alec and I renew our vows, this will be the place. I think that beauty is internal. When I say that, I am talking about the resort Esperanza and the bride Veronica. Both Esperanza and the bride Veronica are visually perfect to the eye, that is a given. What makes them both beautiful is how they make you feel. That is the true beauty. I hope that every wedding Alec and I shoot makes people feel something! If you are looking to hire a photographer, look at their work. Does it make you feel something? Or are they just pretty photos? When it’s your wedding, you better feel something. If I ever shoot a wedding and feel nothing, then I should find a new career. If I do not feel something on the phone with a couple then I will pass the wedding to someone else out of respect for the couple. Veronica and Simon, you are forever in the hearts of Alec and T. Club 96 Palmilla Wedding Los Cabos Photographers Alec & T.

A dream destination wedding venue. Club 96 is a private beach club located in Los Cabos, Mexico. This exclusive club sits next door to One & Only Palmilla. This is the first wedding we have shot at Club 96. It’s amazingly beautiful! The event started with a beach ceremony, then moved to the club for cocktail hour and a dinner reception, followed by an amazing after party. The local band Kilometro played for several hours and had everyone on the dance floor! I love that band, you feel like you’re at a concert. Beth and Chip had a killer wedding. Club 96 gets my vote for the best food I have ever had at an event in my whole life. This wedding also gets the vote for best father-of-the-bride speech I have ever heard in my whole life. We just finished editing the video; I listened to this speech at least four times and was choked up every damn time. “Hall of Fame” speech, I tell you! The wedding planning was done by Amy Abbott Events. Like always, Amy had everything under control and did an amazing job putting this event together and making it run like clockwork! Timing of events is so important to Alec and me. If things run late, we lose light. If we lose light, our romantic and fun couple photos are doomed. Most of the time we only have  25 or 30 minutes with the bride and groom after the ceremony, and we count on the wedding planner to keep things on schedule.  As you can see by this blog, everything was PERFECT. I could not be happier for Tiffany and Gary! This was truly the most amazing celebration of their life’s!!  The emotion of the day brought me to tears several times. This Cabo Azul wedding was in the planning for over 1 year.  I met Tiffany in November of 2010. One and Only Palmilla is located in Cabo San Lucas Mexico and is known for its high end destination weddings. Alec and I have had the opportunity to shoot several weddings at the resort this fall and winter! When I talk to couples regarding the resort I always say a few things~ amazing customer service~exceptional wedding planner~charming chapel~ beautiful beach~absolute privacy~Alec and I have figured out this venue and how to very quickly get these amazing photos! I think we spent about 20 minutes with Stephanie and Michael. I am very happy to finally get this blog posted! We are working around the clock editing our fall/winter  Cabo San Lucas weddings. It was the very fist time that Del Cabo Events had unveiled  the acrylic chairs ! I love these chairs. I have seen them several times since, they are truly beautiful! This beautiful Cabo San Lucas  destination wedding took place at the Hacienda Beach Club.Talk about an amazing wedding venue for photographs! And the food is in my opinion some of the best in Cabo. Never in my life have I had a better ceviche  as the Hacienda green ceviche! The photo opportunities of this venue are endless. The Hacienda Beach Club sits on one of Cabo busiest beaches, Medano beach. But, it is the last restaurant on the beach and has villas in between the other restaurants  and resorts so you do get privacy. Sarah and Tim had a perfectly private ceremony!! Thank You!! The Cabo Del Sol Club House is a wonderful wedding venue. It’s located in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, about 10 minutes from downtown Cabo. Next door to the Club House is the Sheraton Hacienda resort and Fiesta Americana resort, great options for your wedding guests to stay. Cabo Del Sol Club House offers a few different ceremonial site locations, all private and with wonderful ocean views. If you are considering a beach or sand ceremony the club house has an extremely private beach. All beaches in Mexico are public; this beach has limited access so it feels private. It is a Los Cabos wedding venue to consider. Michael and Michelle’s wedding was coordinated by Cabo Del Sol’s event manager Luz Maria. She’s known for her never ending smile and happy-go-lucky attitude. We love her!  Alec and I had the chance to have Michael and Michelle over to our home before their wedding. It’s so great to get to know people on one-on-one before the event if possible (even if it’s just a few phone calls) The wedding day was wonderful and the wedding photos were spectacular. Thinking of a Villa wedding in Los Cabos, Mexico? Great idea. Cabo has some amazing villas for weddings, and Alec and I know them all. I have my favorite villas so feel free to contact me and I will share the list. When planning a villa wedding, you have many things to think about. Number one, you must hire a wedding planner; do not even think about doing it with out one, even if you own the villa. Contact me, I will direct you. Number two, find that perfect villa. Alec and I work hand-in-hand with Cabo Villas and we have a long, beautiful relationship with the company and trust them completely. I believe the benefits of a villa wedding outweigh the extra work and if you’re a wedding planner that is on top of everything, you should not feel a thing. LOL. I am all about privacy and intimacy and Villa Events provide you with both. Villa Cielito is located in Cabo San Lucas corridor, about 15 minutes from downtown Cabo. It has 7 bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms and sleeps 16, one of the few villas you can stay up late and dance all night! Praise God for no neighbors. Sara and Caden could not have been a nicer couple, super easy going and a joy to photograph.I think the photos of this wedding captured the day perfectly! Rachel Hansen is getting married in Cabo San Lucas! Woohoo congratulations.! Rachel is a local Cabo San Lucas wedding planner and has been coordinating weddings for several years in Mexico. Alec and I have worked with her many times. When she called us and asked us to shoot her wedding I was honored, and really happy for her. But booked. Alec and I are extremely loyal and have never missed or replaced ourselves on a wedding in our entire history, Rachel totally understood.  We figured out a way we could still shoot some great photos for Rachel and Ro .This session was 2 hours long. We picked some great locations around Cabo San Lucas and came up with these beautiful engagement photos. It was totally relaxing and a great chance to get to know Ro, who is warm and kind and perfect for Rachel. This Mexico destination wedding took place at Fiesta Americana resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. .Whom ever is in charge of hiring at the Fiesta Americana resort in Cabo rocks!  The staff at the resort is wonderful, they seem to hire really great people. When its your wedding you should be surrounded by smiles and competent hotel staff and at the Fiesta Americana that’s what you get. I am a true believer everything stems from the top. A resort with happy staff must have a happy management or maybe just smart! LOL.. Alec and I have shot over 10 weddings at the resort and every time we leave commenting about how great everyone at the resort is. So that’s half the battle the other one is the food and the food has always been good! The locations for weddings( the wedding sites) have a very private feel. I am all about privacy. The rooms are a bit older and not super glamorous, but they are nice, especially in relationship to the cost. All in all its a  wedding venue option, for sure worth looking into. You can pay twice as much at a few other resorts and not get the wedding location feeling. Its on my list!

When Rita first contact me back in March she did not have a venue set in stone yet and we talked several times about a few different options. I think Rita and Erik made the perfect choice. This was one of the happiest couples we have shot. I do not think they stopped laughing and smiling the entire day and night. It was a wonderful wedding to witness. Alec and I left this wedding feeling really great and super happy for this couple. I am sure we will see them again soon in Cabo! Much love Alec and T.

Cabo Azul wedding by Alec and T Photography! I have blogged many times about Cabo Azul in Cabo San Lucas Mexico and every-time I rave and rave about this venue for weddings! From a photography point of view its is spectacular! The wedding chapel is like no other. They really thought about weddings when they designed the resort!! Thank You Cabo Azul. I will tell you this Cabo has many great resorts and not all of them are set up for weddings. Before you choose your venue call me.. I am not kidding.. I am totally opinionated  and will tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. LOL Depending on your wedding budget and whats important to you I can direct you to the resort that will best suit you. We have worked in all the resorts in Cabo and most of them many times. This wedding was crazy fun for Alec and I. I had no idea Tabitha was going to be this picture perfect beauty, I did know this about her… She was warm and kind and very smart.  At the end of the night I had the chance to chat with Tabitha’s grand parents”What an inspiration” They seemed younger to me then most 30 year olds. I felt like I should do a juice fast or something! LOL. Alec and I walked away from this wedding saying this, What a great group! What an amazing kind and beautiful couple! What a great job we have! The Pueblo Bonito resorts in Cabo have 4 different location for weddings, Sunset Beach, Pacifica, Rose and Blanco. Alec and I have shot several weddings at these Cabo wedding venues. The wedding planner Laura Ortiz is always a joy to work with.Destination weddings require more help from wedding planners then local weddings.Thank you Laura!! Your hard work does not go unnoticed. I met Meredith and her Mother a few months before the wedding, it was a great meeting, we had perfect chemistry. I loved some of the creative ideas Meredith had for her wedding, and knew we would have fun shooting the day. I was very sad to hear that Merediths mom last minute was ill and could not make the event. This makes the photos even more important to document the day with true emotion! When I look at the photos I think Merediths mom will be over joyed! I think that Cory and Meredith for sure will love them.Thank you both! I have had many brides call me and what to get married at the restaurant just for these famous wedding photos! Alec and I love shooting at SSDML,  its a great wedding venue and totally breathtaking. Its also a great wedding rehearsal dinner option and a for sure great dinner option if in town for a few days. Amanda was breathtaking on her own, she would have photographed beautiful anywhere!  she reminded me of Charlize Theron and Brandon was pretty easy on the eye as well. Beautiful Cabo villa wedding Vista Bellena in Cabo San Lucas!! I love villa weddings and this villa is possibly my favorite!! The villa is located in Cabo Del Sol,  5 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms Sleeps 12 this beach front villa is out of this world and works perfect for weddings. Rented by my friends at  CaboVillas. Many Villas do not work for events but this one is perfect! Christie and Ricky’s destination wedding was incredibly beautiful, every thing worked! Thank You Amy Abbot events. As always we loved working with you! And amazing Floral designs from “Pina” Her work is fresh and totally creative every-time. At the very last minute Ricky talked Christie into a trash the dress session! When we finished the shoot Christie looked at me and said that was the most fun she had on her whole wedding trip! Cabo Wedding Venue Casa Dorada destination wedding photographer Alec and T.

Casa Dorada Weddings in Cabo San Lucas!! Destination weddings are totally the way to go as far as I am concerned, and its not just because I am a destination wedding photographer. I actually had a destination wedding! Its such a great way to bring family and friend together. I met Sam and Tam about a year before the wedding and we stayed close the entire time, I refuse to let them continue life as husband and wife without Alec and I some how remaining friends! The great thing is they are from Los Angele’s and we are in LA all the time. Tam and Sam had their wedding guests stay at Villa Del Arco where we shot the getting ready photos and then moved the wedding to Casa Doradas 12 tribes restaurant! The wedding went off without a bump in the road! I would say that about 99% of all our weddings do go off in a stress free manner. I think its important to remember this..Your wedding is one day out of your life that you should enjoy every minute, from the getting ready to the cutting of the cake. Make sure the people around you can roll with the punches. Make sure that everyone is working as a team your wedding planner ~photographers~ florists ~DJs~should all be their for one thing and that is you. At the end of the day your wedding is the event of your life! If you are considering a destination wedding and looking into Cabo please call me!! I can direct you to the venue that may be right for you. Alec and I have worked in all the resorts and now them all well..The good the great the bad and the ugly LOL! Depending on what is important to you has everything to do with the resort you choose. Some resorts are great for vacation but not for weddings and some resorts rock at both, some resorts you need an outside wedding planner and some resorts you don’t. So many things to think about. The preparation that should be fun, we can help! Tam and Sam we love you both!! We will hopefully see you in LA at the end of the month!! T

Cabo Del Sol Wedding, Los Cabos destination Photographers:Alec and T

What an amazing and wonderful couple! Susanna and Matt had all ready became friends before the wedding! The relationship started off with an engagement session almost 1 year ago in Cabo, the session ended with Matt and Susanna getting side swiped by a huge wave that came out of no where! Totally soaked.. and Alec jumping 5 feet off the ground trying to save a camera.The whole thing seeming to happen in slow motion to me( I did get a great photo) It is always fun! The build up to the wedding is the part I love the most. I like to get a feel for each couple, so when we arrive to photograph the day, we have a little history to work on.Everything we do is personal and your photos cannot be if I walk in and just start snapping. I was super excited to see Susannas dress and Matt in a suit for the first time!! haha Matt you look great in a suit and I am a huge fan of the color grey it photographs perfect with the sand in Cabo and doesn’t reflect yellow in your skin. Lets talk about Cabo Del Sol! Its a location that offers many things and one being a total private ceremony and reception location! The wedding ceremony was held at San Jose’s Catholic church and the wedding reception took place at Cabo San Lucas, Hacienda Beach Club. Wedding planning was done by our dear friend Vari from (Allure Event) located in Cabo San Lucas. Thank You for everything Vari Job well done! Alec and I had the chance to shoot Sierus and Linda’s engagement photos last fall in Los Angele’s, We knew going into this wedding that this couple photographs beautiful. Linda has a smile and a laugh that is totally contagious, its impossible not to adore her! I want to make her my doctor! Imagine.. beautiful, smart always smiling and laughing,. My father always says attitude is everything in life, we wake up in the morning and we can decide to have a crappy day or a great day. Linda is one of those people that I think wakes up and decides everyday is a good one. Sierus the handsome lawyer and Linda the beautiful doctor had a dream wedding. Alec and I are the beneficiaries of this day. Some times I think ..How could you not get it right as a photographer with this combination? Life happens in a second and it happens right in front of you. I think you have to be looking for it and trust it will happen and when it does be ready for it! And that’s what we do. When you look at this blog post you are going to want to get married in Cabo! The absolute pure love and joy that took place on this day could not be measured. Cabo Azul Resort is one of the hottest places to get married in Cabo its unique ~outstanding architectural design is the draw for most brides and grooms I speak with. One of these days. I really need to meet the architect, I think he is brilliant!  Lisa and Jeff  we are so happy you chose us to shoot your wedding. Jeff actually told me he knew we would be the right photographers when Lisa cried looking at blog photos of a total stranger, hahhahaha . I loved hearing that. I am really bad, I cried watching the new Bambi movie with my son Liam. This wedding was filled with beautiful emotion and great energy. Lisa sent me an email asking me( Did you get any photos of us with out a beer in our hands? LOL) ! Yes we do have many.. but this really could be an add for Corona. What a beautiful Cabo wedding! Sunset Da Mona Lisa is known for its breath taking views! I tell everyone coming to Cabo San Lucas try to make it a point to have dinner at The restaurant and arrive about 45 minutes before sunset, it really is a romantic way to spend an evening. Zahra and Shafiq contacted me at the beginning of the year. I remember talking to Zahra and hearing the total joy and excitement in her voice about her wedding. I love that! I am a very excitably person. Alec always says I will most likely be more excited about the wedding then the actual couple getting married. Lol. When I met Zahra and Shafiq for the first time it was smiles from ear to ear I think that Shafiq did not stop smiling the entire meeting, I walked away super excited to be apart of their day.The day started at Barcelo in San Jose Del Cabo where the couple got ready, The wedding ceremony and reception was held at Sunset da Mona Lisa.

Stephanie and Sodas destination wedding was an adventure! I love this couple and have gotten to know them both over the past year. Alec and I first had the chance to spend time with them when we shot their engagement photos several months back and after that we stayed in close contact until the wedding day. Call me crazy but I love a little wind, it makes for movement in photos. When I arrived on the wedding day Stephanie was really worried about the wind and I assured her no worries that a little wind was good!Keyword is LITTLE.  I had no idea it would be the windiest day of the year… Despite the wind the wedding went on and the wedding was beautiful! Stephanie reminds me of a young and beautiful Barbara Streisand, she was very easy to capture and Soda is totally and completely charming. The Mess The Dress session we talked about for a long time.  Stephanie is a champion equestrian! We had to figure out how to include a horse and we did. I wanted to write a bit about an amazing new find! His name is John Carrafa and he is one of the best dance choreographers on the planet! I have the right to say that. LOL  Many of you already know that I was a professional ballerina for many years. Alec and I shot a wedding last month ( Luke and Sarah). Well Luke and Sarah kept going on and on about this dance and how they had this very famous dance choreographer teaching them a routine. And the routine involved the entire bridal party. I had no idea that when I met John we had known each other from the dance world in NYC. The world of professional dancers is very small. Or maybe the world is getting smaller, or maybe it is fate that I met John again after so many years. John has choreographed over 30 films and 10 Broadway shows! The man knows what he is doing, and he is a super nice down to earth guy. If your wedding first dance is important to you or you are thinking about a way to make your wedding stand out. Forget about the fireworks, hahaha I think John is the better choice!! John he is located in LA and NY but will travel. I cannot say enough good things about John…OH and Luke & Sarahs dance was so cool that the wedding guest went crazy and they did an encore John Carrafa A First Dance

What an amazing Cabo San Lucas wedding! Sunset Da Mona Lisa and Cabo Del Sol as the perfect wedding venues. Luke Greenfield ( Something Borrowed, Director) married Sarah Baldwin Los Angeles actress, in Los Cabos Mexico! To my friends Luke and Sarah, what a perfect day it was, Congratulations! Alec and I shoot over 60 weddings per year , I have to be honest..This wedding had me a bit nervous. Luke and Sarah had a clear vision for their day, it was scripted out almost to the minute. The first dance included the entire bridal party and was choreographed by the Amazing John Carrafa – Johns recent work, BRIDE WARS with Anne Hathaway, SOMETHING BORROWED with Kate Hudson, THE OTHER GUYS with Will Farrell  The thought that went into the day was like no other couple we have worked with. At first I was thinking..OK this could be a royal pain in the ass. Luke is going to make a block buster movie out of his wedding, and we are going to be responsible for shooting the photos and shooting the movie?? hmmm…Then I got to know Luke and Sarah.  Then it become a challenge and then it became a passion. Every moment of this wedding day was meaningful, it was not a pain in the ass! Just the opposite. It was an unforgettable day for Alec and I. I think these are some of the best wedding photos I have ever seen. The personality of the day is for ever preserved. Luke and Sarah,  You have made us better at what we do~ we thank you! WE LOVE U! WOOOHOOO you did it!!

WOW! This is a Trash The Dress. The water in Cabo is pretty warm these days! hahhaha. Ask Grace and Steve. This Trash The Dress ( Mess The Dress)  was shot in Los Cabos Mexico. Alec and I have shot many Trash The Dress session and so far all the dresses come clean. Think about it.. When in your life would you do this again? Trash The Dress is not for everyone, but if its for you,  more power to you!! Preserve that dress on your body in amazing photos.. Not in the back of your closet. I put my dress back on 3 times for photos. I was getting my money out of that Lazaro gown if I had to murder the dress in the process. LOL.. Grace,  mission accomplished the photos are for ever yours. Grace and Steve’s wedding took place at Barcelo Resort in San Jose Del Cabo, It was the very first wedding that Alec and I have shot at this resort. We worked together  as a team with Suzanne Morels Linens, Things and More design team, Rene from Cabo Floral Studios, Suzanne’s hair and make up team and Adan( DJ, Mijares) We all pulled together to make this wedding an event that Grace and Steve could remember as one of those red letter days. Los Cabo has some amazing beaches,  perfect backdrops for great family photo session!  Vikki, Bobby, Chase and Conner need to be making commercials or should be the poster family for Snell ..Come to Cabo and you will look this happy and healthy.LOL  Alec and I love family photo shoots and wish we had the time to do them more often. The first time I spoke with Vikki on the phone I knew I needed to meet her. A totally confident, out going Texan that can talk as mush as I can. She warned me her family was good looking and she was 100% correct. I am so jealous of these photos.I really need some soon of Alec myself and Liam. This destination wedding took place at Cabo Azul resort in San Jose Del Cabo Mexico. Cabo Azul is famous for its wedding chapel and modern or what I call HIP~ design. This resort seems to attract the same type of bride and grooms modern cool and hip. I  looked up the word HIP and it means in slag.  Fashionable, Current and in the Know!! Exactly the definition for this wedding couple.  Brandon & Tracy you picked the perfect wedding location. Tracy and I had several emails back and forth and did get the chance to meet several months before the wedding! I’m so glad you both decided to hire us. Talk about detail and beautiful detail!! Everything was perfect and the work that this bride did on her own showed in every-way, the personal touches touched my heart. Alec and I shoot many weddings, I get excited for every wedding. For me the very best weddings are the ones that have attention to detail , personal detail (the little things) and personal care. Tracy made this wedding her own and it was spectacular. As a wedding photographer I feel so responsible to make sure that I capture each and every moment and every detail with much care. Another great Cabo wedding at the Hilton Los Cabos  I am excited about this wedding venue option, for couples planning a destination wedding in Mexico. I think this venue has a really good feel for weddings. Alec and I have done several weddings with the resorts wedding planner (Gaby) she is very seasoned and experienced  as a wedding coordinator. As a photographer so many little time-line details make the world of difference for your photos.  When we work with Gaby we are always on the same page!! I had the chance to meet Jillian several months before the wedding and we just clicked in minutes. On the wedding day after 2 seconds meeting Paul I knew the photos would be great.
