Hair and make up on your wedding day is extremely important, I cannot stress this enough. I was at Suzanne Morels Salon in Cabo San lucas the other day. I was getting a manicure/ pedicure eating Christmas cookies and talking with Suzanne & Elsa. Suzanne made a great point about whether to wear your hair up or down?? Remember its very windy in Cabo San Lucas at certain times of the year. Hair Up or Down this is the question?? If its a windy day please wear your hair up. Its very distracting when your hair is blowing in your face and it also looks really bad for photos. You can always take it down after the ceremony. Suzanne has a few updos that look great when taken down. She suggested always have 2 options, and I could not agree more. T

I am a big huge fan of eyelashes for wedding photos..They really make the eyes look more open and alive for your photos.
My biggest concern as a photographer is shine.Its a fine balance between a caked make up look and a great matte look..but please no shine..and please no sparkly makeup!!!! Glitter reflects light and can appear to be a huge glare,If its to close to your eye we cant fix it in editing.so no glitter make up..

We discussed the fact that it was a windy day in Los Cabos and how to keep Calies hair in place for her wedding photos but not looking stiff .
Suzanne Morel puts the final touches..its was perfect!!
Suzanne wanted to make sure that Calie,was completely comfortable.And it was what she was hoping for!
I put a few photos of Calie completely finished and she looked like a picture perfect bride!!!!
I will add the wedding next..Alec and I could not take a bad photo of her.her hair and make up lasted the entire night.

I have worked with professional hair and make-up artists for the past 22 years in New York,Los Angele’s and all over the USA,And Suzanne and her Los Cabos team rank with the best I have ever seen.Her attention to detail and extreme perfectionism impressed me so much I had to sit down and talk to her.We talked about how she keeps herself up on all the latest wedding trends ( she actually is usually ahead of everything going on)and sets her own trends,that everyone seems to follow.we talked about her (on location spa) I love this concept, she brings everything to you.
