Trash Your Dress In Cabo – Los Cabos Photography

Trash your wedding dress or not? You do not actually have to trash your wedding dress. Alec and I have trashed many and the all have come clean after a trip to the dry cleaners. Or you can do what this Cabo bride did,  buy a second dress. We have several different locations in Los Cabos for these shoots. You want to make sure you pick a spot that  you to actually get in the water safely. This shoot was done a few days before the wedding. took less then 2 hours and worked out really well. Most couple do them a day or 2 after the wedding. We can make them super sexy or we can make them just 100% fun.  The combination of Fun & Sexy wins in my book. Wow Sexy Trash the Dress in Cabo San Lucas! Michele,  you did get your photos after all ( long story ) Michelle & Mark got married at Cabo Azul Resort.. Alec and I do NOT shoot at the resort. They went crazy for months. Then just decided to hire us for a shoot,  2 days after their wedding! GREAT idea. Check out these unreal photos (with many many more on the way) and all in less then 2 hours from start to finish with the boat ride included. We shoot really fast. These shoots are totally relaxed and 100% fun. When in your life,  do you think you will ever get the chance to do a photo shoot like this again?  They call them “Trash The Dress”  I have never really liked that name.  Alec and I have done tons of these photo shoots and the dress has always come clean. Really what are you saving it for anyway? Can you imagine wearing your moms? hahhaha!! Everyone wants to have their own dress usually~ preserve the dress on your body in photos! Have fun on the beach or in town with your husband and in return receive priceless photos that forever capture you young, free and in love!! T

Beautiful Cabo villa wedding Vista Bellena in Cabo San Lucas!! I love villa weddings and this villa is possibly my favorite!! The villa is located in Cabo Del Sol,  5 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms Sleeps 12 this beach front villa is out of this world and works perfect for weddings. Rented by my friends at  CaboVillas. Many Villas do not work for events but this one is perfect! Christie and Ricky’s destination wedding was incredibly beautiful, every thing worked! Thank You Amy Abbot events. As always we loved working with you! And amazing Floral designs from “Pina” Her work is fresh and totally creative every-time. At the very last minute Ricky talked Christie into a trash the dress session! When we finished the shoot Christie looked at me and said that was the most fun she had on her whole wedding trip! I love these mess the dress shoots they are totally fun and free. We miss this great couple and cannot wait to see you both again soon!! Drinks again at our house is a must!! xooxox Alec & T.

Cabo San Lucas Hacienda Beach Club wedding Photos By Alec and T.Photography

The wedding ceremony was held at San Jose’s Catholic church and the wedding reception took place at Cabo San Lucas, Hacienda Beach Club. Wedding planning was done by our dear friend Vari from (Allure Event) located in Cabo San Lucas. Thank You for everything Vari Job well done! Alec and I had the chance to shoot Sierus and Linda’s engagement photos last fall in Los Angele’s, We knew going into this wedding that this couple photographs beautiful. Linda has a smile and a laugh that is totally contagious, its impossible not to adore her! I want to make her my doctor! Imagine.. beautiful, smart always smiling and laughing,. My father always says attitude is everything in life, we wake up in the morning and we can decide to have a crappy day or a great day. Linda is one of those people that I think wakes up and decides everyday is a good one. Sierus the handsome lawyer and Linda the beautiful doctor had a dream wedding. Alec and I are the beneficiaries of this day. Some times I think ..How could you not get it right as a photographer with this combination? Life happens in a second and it happens right in front of you. I think you have to be looking for it and trust it will happen and when it does be ready for it! And that’s what we do. Its such an amazing feeling when some one trusts you enough to place their memories of one of the most important day in your hands. We do not take it lightly. Stephanie and Sodas destination wedding was an adventure! I love this couple and have gotten to know them both over the past year. Alec and I first had the chance to spend time with them when we shot their engagement photos several months back and after that we stayed in close contact until the wedding day. Call me crazy but I love a little wind, it makes for movement in photos. When I arrived on the wedding day Stephanie was really worried about the wind and I assured her no worries that a little wind was good!Keyword is LITTLE.  I had no idea it would be the windiest day of the year… Despite the wind the wedding went on and the wedding was beautiful! Stephanie reminds me of a young and beautiful Barbara Streisand, she was very easy to capture and Soda is totally and completely charming. The Mess The Dress session we talked about for a long time.  Stephanie is a champion equestrian! We had to figure out how to include a horse and we did. The photos are beautiful and for sure meaningful. Just wait for the video!! COMING SOON!! Stephanie and Soda we will see you both in a few months. Alec & T.

Barcelo Resort wedding in San Jose del Cabo, Amazing Trash the Dress By ALEC and T.Photography

WOW! This is a Trash The Dress. The water in Cabo is pretty warm these days! hahhaha. Ask Grace and Steve. This Trash The Dress ( Mess The Dress)  was shot in Los Cabos Mexico. Alec and I have shot many Trash The Dress session and so far all the dresses come clean. Think about it.. When in your life would you do this again? Trash The Dress is not for everyone, but if its for you,  more power to you!! Preserve that dress on your body in amazing photos.. Not in the back of your closet. I put my dress back on 3 times for photos. I was getting my money out of that Lazaro gown if I had to murder the dress in the process. LOL.. Grace,  mission accomplished the photos are for ever yours. Grace and Steve’s wedding took place at Barcelo Resort in San Jose Del Cabo, It was the very first wedding that Alec and I have shot at this resort. We worked together  as a team with Suzanne Morels Linens, Things and More design team, Rene from Cabo Floral Studios, Suzanne’s hair and make up team and Adan( DJ, Mijares) We all pulled together to make this wedding an event that Grace and Steve could remember as one of those red letter days. Cabo Azul Resort Wedding AMAZING Photos By Alec and T

Great wedding at Cabo Azul Resort in Mexico. If I were to describe Cabo Azul I would start off by saying your in great hands with” Bertha” the resorts wedding planner and then I would move on to the overall feeling of the resort. The resort is black and white and has a very modern and hip feel to it. The resort can be captured in photographs very dramatic like the post below.  The chapel is a must see, if your planning a Cabo Destination Wedding and are not into a sand ceremony, Its a great option.  The rooms are all suites we love them!  As far as the food I have not had anything but fabulous food at Javier’s (Alec even loves it and hes mister picky eater) Erika and Abu  chose a great  resort that was the perfect wedding location for them. Erika and Abu’s wedding was just as I explained the resort.  Modern and hip. This couple could not do anything that wasn’t cool. As I was looking at the 100s of photos trying to pick some for the blog.  I could not help myself but to keep saying wow,wow, amazing, great!! I was driving Alec crazy. Two days after the wedding on Dec 31st we had Erika and Abu over to our home for a few shots of Alec private stash tequila and a out of this world trash the dress session ( Mess The Dress) We laughed as they brought half the beach back to the house in Erika’s wedding dress. I could not think of a better way to bring in the New Year. We send our love to your entire family! Alec and T.

Villa weddings in Cabo! Choosing a villa as your wedding venue is a great option. If privacy and intimacy is your goal I think you cant go wrong. Cabo is known for its amazing villas for rent. Jim and Jody had contacted me many months ago and talked about the option of a villa wedding it was very exciting I just adored them both. Then one day I got a phone call and Jody informing me some issues had arrived and the wedding would be canceled.  This was 1 month prior wedding date .. I said NO NO NO!! The wedding must go on, you have your dress,  your shoes your villa,  your friends and family ( what else do you need??)  Like the story of Cinderella all my friends jumped into gear #1 Matter of Taste Catering designed an amazing menu arranged for the tables and chairs and many details like the very cool fireworks show. Then Rene from Cabo Floral designs, truly a master, created the flowers and the ceremony set up.  Suzanne Morel hair and Make up and Suzanne Morel Linens and Things and More,  came up with the perfect tables, Jorge the Minister came to the rescue to perform a beautiful ceremony. The music, the cake, the time-line… Everything was put together in a few weeks and the wedding went off PERFECT!!  Jody and Jim enjoyed every minute of the day, I was so excited when Jody told me she had 2 dresses and 1 of those was jumping in the ocean Wooohoo!! MESS THE DRESS. This couple went into the ocean with total passion and joy no inhibitions at all.  It was a warm Cabo day..I wished I could have jumped in!! What a joy what a pleasure Jody and Jim,  Alec and I wish you all the best that this world can send your way.  xoxox T

Los Cabos Mexico Trash the Dress By Alec and T. Photography

I wanted to blog with a few of Ana and Alonso’s trash the dress photos.. Cabo Del Sol wedding photos coming soon !! I just fell in love with Ana, everything about her was elegant and pure as if she stepped out from a movie that took place in the early 1900s. Alec and I instantly had a great chemistry with both Anna & Alonso. Cheers!!!  I believe that you should preserve your wedding dress on your body ( with as many photos as possible ) before you retire it to your closet..to never wear again! Just a few photos.. T

Ive had several inquires about our trash the dress sessions,recently,So have decided to blog about them.And post a few trash the dress photos from some sessions in the past.First of all I think they are priceless and great option if we are out of your price range for you wedding day photos.Or a great add on to your wedding day packages.Alec, and I love to shoot them.My back ground is in film and television and Alec’s is high fashion.so when you combine my direction with his eye (for what looks HOT!!) we always come up with a really great end result.

Let’s face it most of us need direction(movie stars need it) And when thrown in the water most couples get stumped on what to do next,or what to do from the start.I have a million ideas, all the time,and every single shoot I have different ones,depending on the couples personality.Its my job to make you feel comfortable and free,and encourage you to express yourself.I have not had one couple, that did not completely enjoy the shoot and actually want it to continue..They really are fun,freeing and totally sexy!!T.

Its not to late to put your dress back on,or buy some thing sexy even after 10 years of marriage, no matter your age!

Alec and I only wish we would have made the trash the dress movie as well, becouse they were perfect!!!these are my very favorite sessions, we shoot them very fast from beginning to end maximum 2 hours.this was shot in Cancun and 2 days later we did one in Los Cabos.Hats off to Rocio and Nelvine..just wait until you see them all! this is nothing…. lol,T
