If you read my blog at all you will realize a few things. I cannot spell and my grammar sucks. I write my blogs from the heart and off the top of my head. I do not look back, I tell the complete truth. Honestly I love Villa weddings. Here is the thing. They are a ton of work  for a wedding planner (hire one or you are dead in the water)  You cannot rent a villa and just go to Costco and have a party. You need permits and you need to do it right. I have said this 200 million times and will say it again. To me privacy is everything. A wedding of 10 or a wedding of 200 needs to have its own space. On the day you say “I will love you forever” and make the biggest commitment  of your life, do without strangers in bathing suits joining in please. I am not saying that resorts do not have privacy, some do I can tell you what resorts to choose just call me or email me I do not have any problem telling you where Not to have your wedding. Well OK then. Christina and Matt great wedding choice. Christina was refereed to me by a beautiful bride a few posted down Thanks Steph. After a few times talking and getting to know each other we decided Villa Marcella was the spot. This Cabo beach front Villa has 5 bedrooms sleeps 14 and is over 10,000 sg feet. Oh did I mention the beach front is almost totally private. The wedding was beautiful. Food off the chart , Thank you Matter of Taste Catering amazing crew another Cabo BFF. Thinking about a villa wedding in Cabo? Check out this one beautiful romantic Cabo wedding. Wedding planning by: Be That Bride Events. Thank you, Yarai!! This was a wonderfully coordinated Cabo San Lucas event. Wedding hair and makeup by Los Cabos makeup artist Suzanne Morel. And last, but not least, Matter of Taste Catering who dressed in beautiful grey dress shirts to match the event. The day was beautiful. This bride Abby was–is–extremely special to me. When we first started to chat, she had originally wanted Esperanza, and then Las Ventanas, for her destination wedding ceremony. Both venues already had bookings so we decided the best wedding venue for this very intimate and romantic wedding would at a villa…and then one villa ended up to be three villas, and the weekend was set. Beautiful villas provided by our dear friends at Cabo Villas, a.k.a. Earth Sea and Sky. Cabo Villas has almost all the villas in Cabo San Lucas that rent for events. Abby I loved from the very start. If you look at the photos you will see she is so full of love, it just cannot be contained. An extremely smart and detailed bride that was on top of everything. I loved working with her and will miss our phone calls. The wedding weekend started with a beautiful rehearsal dinner at Edith’s Restaurant, then the wedding day was at Villa de los Suenos, followed by a farewell brunch the next day. I am looking forward to seeing Abby and Omar very soon! And to the mother and father of the bride, Becky and Gus, you both will be long-lasting friends. Dinner in Cabo is a must for all of us. This event was truly a day that will stand out in our minds forever!! Love, blessing, and joy~ T

Thinking of a Villa wedding in Los Cabos, Mexico? Great idea. Cabo has some amazing villas for weddings, and Alec and I know them all. I have my favorite villas so feel free to contact me and I will share the list. When planning a villa wedding, you have many things to think about. Number one, you must hire a wedding planner; do not even think about doing it with out one, even if you own the villa. Contact me, I will direct you. Number two, find that perfect villa. Alec and I work hand-in-hand with Cabo Villas and we have a long, beautiful relationship with the company and trust them completely. I believe the benefits of a villa wedding outweigh the extra work and if you’re a wedding planner that is on top of everything, you should not feel a thing. LOL. I am all about privacy and intimacy and Villa Events provide you with both. Villa Cielito is located in Cabo San Lucas corridor, about 15 minutes from downtown Cabo. It has 7 bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms and sleeps 16, one of the few villas you can stay up late and dance all night! Praise God for no neighbors. Sara and Caden could not have been a nicer couple, super easy going and a joy to photograph.I think the photos of this wedding captured the day perfectly! Beautiful Cabo villa wedding Vista Bellena in Cabo San Lucas!! I love villa weddings and this villa is possibly my favorite!! The villa is located in Cabo Del Sol,  5 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms Sleeps 12 this beach front villa is out of this world and works perfect for weddings. Rented by my friends at  CaboVillas. Many Villas do not work for events but this one is perfect! Christie and Ricky’s destination wedding was incredibly beautiful, every thing worked! Thank You Amy Abbot events. As always we loved working with you! And amazing Floral designs from “Pina” Her work is fresh and totally creative every-time. At the very last minute Ricky talked Christie into a trash the dress session! When we finished the shoot Christie looked at me and said that was the most fun she had on her whole wedding trip! I love these mess the dress shoots they are totally fun and free. We miss this great couple and cannot wait to see you both again soon!! Drinks again at our house is a must!! xooxox Alec & T.

Beautiful romantic villa wedding in Cabo! Enid and Jim’s wedding was filled with love friends and most of all 100% joy!  I love Villa weddings!  I think this wedding was one of my most relaxed, easy going and beautiful weddings of the summer. villa weddings usually have that air to them, they are mostly free of many rules and regulations.. well mostly I say. LOL  I was super excited for this wedding, Enid is a beautiful firecracker and Jim I had never met…well that took about 20 seconds flat, to see he has a heart of gold, this couple was amazing to work with! Cabo has some great Villas for weddings, I know them all and have my favorites. Once again I will for sure give you a true opinion, if you want it??  if you are thinking about a villa wedding call me or email me.Villa Bellissima is rented by my friends at Cabo Villas it has 8 bedrooms, all of them have views!! and 11 bedrooms sleeps 16. Its a pretty amazing  location. Alec and I have shot many weddings at Villa Bellissima. I want to Thank Karla Casilla for the wonderful event planning and Roger living art floral design It was an event to remember!

As a wedding photographer in Cabo San Lucas Mexico, Alec and I have the chance to see amazing wedding venues. This wedding was no exception. Villas Del Mar in Palmilla was the wedding location of  West and Nancy s  intimate wedding. Two beautiful villas side by side owned by Wests father who by the way is a wonderful Photographer!!!  I got a phone call from Amy Abbot ( Amy Abbot events in Cabo) Telling me she had a great bride that loved our work and I should contact her ASAP the wedding was just a few months away. I called Nancy one evening and I could have talked with her for hours. That was it!  we were a perfect match!! Fast forward to the wedding day. As Alec and I arrived the doctor was leaving…Nancy was feeling awful and really just wanted to sleep ( every brides nightmare) Thank God for Cabo house calls.  The first few hours were a bit shaky, but as the day went on Nancy seemed to feel better, Thanks to an amazingly loving and caring West whose only concern was for Nancy. Even though the day started out not perfect, I believe it ended perfect. As we were leaving we had to stop and hug everyone, This was a wedding filled with loving caring and just great people all the way around. We will see you both soon in Cabo . xox Alec and T

Villa weddings in Cabo! Choosing a villa as your wedding venue is a great option. If privacy and intimacy is your goal I think you cant go wrong. Cabo is known for its amazing villas for rent. Jim and Jody had contacted me many months ago and talked about the option of a villa wedding it was very exciting I just adored them both. Then one day I got a phone call and Jody informing me some issues had arrived and the wedding would be canceled.  This was 1 month prior wedding date .. I said NO NO NO!! The wedding must go on, you have your dress,  your shoes your villa,  your friends and family ( what else do you need??)  Like the story of Cinderella all my friends jumped into gear #1 Matter of Taste Catering designed an amazing menu arranged for the tables and chairs and many details like the very cool fireworks show. Then Rene from Cabo Floral designs, truly a master, created the flowers and the ceremony set up.  Suzanne Morel hair and Make up and Suzanne Morel Linens and Things and More,  came up with the perfect tables, Jorge the Minister came to the rescue to perform a beautiful ceremony. The music, the cake, the time-line… Everything was put together in a few weeks and the wedding went off PERFECT!!  Jody and Jim enjoyed every minute of the day, I was so excited when Jody told me she had 2 dresses and 1 of those was jumping in the ocean Wooohoo!! MESS THE DRESS. This couple went into the ocean with total passion and joy no inhibitions at all.  It was a warm Cabo day..I wished I could have jumped in!! What a joy what a pleasure Jody and Jim,  Alec and I wish you all the best that this world can send your way.  xoxox T

Weddings in the East Cape of  Mexico. When I say “East Cape” I’m talking about  approx 30 minutes from San Jose Del Cabo and about 50 minutes from Cabo San Lucas . The great benefit of  having an East Cape wedding is music , Many of the villas in Cabo have a 10 or 11 pm shut off time …The East Cape, you can pretty much party all night. I love to talk about weddings,  I could talk all day about them!! When I met Dustin for the first time over the phone we talked for over an hour, he told me about Annie his business and his children and I got his priorities instantly. When ever we are hired be anther photographer I feel honored! Thank You Annie!! When I met Annie, her eyes said it all.. I’m true..I’m beautiful.. I’m good.. I’m as loving as it gets!  Alec and I watched the wedding unfold before us and knew that we were the perfect match, to capture the true moments of the day. We also captured the wedding video,  Alec and T. wedding videos feel just like our photography, Stress free!! Wow just wait. Its all about moments in time. Villa Bellissima is Located in Los Cabos Mexico, It is an amazing Villa that over looks the newest high end Cabo San Lucas resort Capella. Let me tell you about this amazing villa wedding!!! Anatoly and Yana contacted me from Chicago and we discussed their wedding details.They are an amazingly beautiful Russian couple as you can see. We came to an agreement that Alec and I would shoot the wedding photos and the wedding video. Anatoly  told me of a entertainer ( Marat) that he would be flying in from Chicago to run the show, OK fine I said, I will talk with him to get the scoop on this Russian wedding. Hmmmm.. Well.. WOW.. All I can say is MARAT is my new hero, my MASTER of fun, my Mr. MAGICAL. I cant say enough about him!! In my life I have never experienced  a wedding anything like this wedding. From shooting weddings in NYC in LA in San Diego, Seattle or Mexico City, Marat put on the best show I have ever witnessed. The wedding was  non stop entertainment. Alec and I were hired to shoot the wedding until 10:00  at 12:30, we started to pack up, I didn’t want to miss a thing. The Couple Yana & Anatoly and all of their wedding guests made us feel a part of the wedding.Thank You!!  I have only a few of these spectacular wedding photos ready. How could I choose from so many perfect photos. And the wedding video is going to be so much fun, I cant wait to start working on it.

The wedding of Deb and Steve took place at Villa Cortez in beautiful Cabo San Lucas. Alec and I were very excited to shoot the wedding. We not only were hired to capture the wedding with photography but we also shot their wedding video! And it is going to be amazing! Villa Cortez is located on Cabo Del Sol Golf coarse, and over looks the ocean. I had no idea I was dealing with a golf pro. Steve toured 7 years  as a professional  PGA player!! WOW it was impressive. He even held a golf club different then most, it was an extension of his arm.  when he swung his club it was smooth as butter.. I have video as proof!  They did not have a sit down dinner but instead decided on appetizers passed around all night. by my friend Dennis Catering . Smart.. Smart. The food was really amazing (no body missed the sit down dinner..) and they focused on a great party!! It was a great party!  Located in Cabo San Lucas. Dani & Jons destination wedding took place in a magical place near the Sea of Cortez. The Villa was just past Puerto Los Cabos, Villa Castillo Escondido. It was perfect for a wedding! The completely private beach was beautiful. During Dani & Jons ceremony the whales swam freely in the distance. It was a perfect day! Wedding planners Baja Weddings .
