What a beautiful wedding in Cabo San Lucas Mexico~ Sunset da Mona Lisa is a restaurant in  Cabo about 5 minutes from downtown. Sunset da Mona Lisa,  offers priceless sunsets and wonderful weddings! This particular  day the sky in Cabo San Lucas was a blush pink! It really was  impressive , as if the bride Jessica put the order in to compliment the rest of her perfect day! I am over joyed for these breath taking photos and blessed to have met Jessica and Alex!

This magnificent Cabo San Lucas wedding venue is a restaurant  ” Sunset Da Mona Lisa”  Located 10minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas. I must get about 5 emails a week asking about the venue. I am a good person to ask!  LOl.  Alec and T Photography has shot over 50 weddings at the venue and Be That Bride Events has planned around 10 this last year. The venue offers several different options as far as weddings and events. You can do a whole buy out ( I suggest if over 60 guests ) Or you can just block certain terraces. The beach below is a bit of a hike~ but I have never had anyone complain,  for photos its 100% worth it!  Alec & I love working at the venue , the staff feels like family. This venue is not easy to photograph. The back light is hard to manage, but when its done correctly WOW!! this is what you get!!  Rachel and Marty contacted us about 10 months before their wedding. Cabo Wedding Venue, Sunset Da Mona Lisa. How do you choose a wedding location? The million dollar question. Its usually the most difficult when you cannot jump on a plane and come for a site visit. So what should you do? You should get advice some someone who understands the differences in the local venues.  And is willing to tell you the truth.  If I have you on the phone, I will ask you a million questions , then guide you to the resort that best fits with your budget and your vision. For instance if you want a “Beach Ceremony” some resorts are better then others.  If you want a ceremony NOT on the beach,  but with a great view, then others will work.  Some resorts are great for vacations or your room blocks, but the actual event… hmmm.. …Many Cabo San Lucas  Wedding venues, just rock and roll at everything! “L.O.V.E is without question life’s greatest experience“  Anyone that has been truly in love would agree.  I am sure of it!  Anyone that has picked up the phone and had a conversation with me”  regarding wedding photography”  will understand what I am talking about!  Your wedding photos and wedding video should represent your personality. I love it when brides send me a FEW photos from pinterest. This way I can see how they see themselves. BEWARE if you send  your photographer to many photos to copy.. Your wedding photos will be nothing but a imitation of someone else’s personality.. Why would you want that?? Really… This has only happened to Alec and I a few times.. But,  I am hearing this is becoming a trend and its driving photographers crazy. ” No creative photographer wants to copy the ideas of another photographer” The photo loses the intimate vulnerability of the moment. Its that second in time that makes one photo stand out from the rest. The look in your eyes,  the touch of a hand, the softness of a real kiss.  Do not cheat your self out of  your real photos. Los Cabos Wedding location to check out. Sunset da Mona Lisa is located in Cabo San Lucas Mexico and caters to many weddings a year. I bet you are thinking ?? I wonder how much my wedding is going run me in Cabo. The million dollar question. In order to answer this question, I have about 10 questions I need to ask you. If you think because its Mexico,  it is going to be less then the USA.  You could not be more off base. YES you are going to get a way better quality wedding for your money. That is for sure.. But not for 5 dollars.  Things cost different on location~ Call me I will give you a true ballpark figure.  Please if you have 80-100 guests, do not think for 5-10k you can actually have a wedding,  its impossible. Unless you do not want, photography, flowers, music and wedding planning. If you have a very limited budget, I suggest cut your guest list down and make sure you put yourself in the proper venue for your budget. I can help. This is what I do really well. Cabo destination weddings. Your wedding will be the most important celebration of your life. Choose your wedding venue wisely. deciding on a wedding venue is the second thing the need to do,  after you hire your wedding planner. I suggest  Be That Bride Events I always suggest a local planner. They can advise you on the locations and the vendors from first hand experience. If possible come to Cabo and stay at the resorts you are considering, even if its just one night. If you cannot come, then my blog will be a really great source of information for you. Alec and I have worked at almost every resort in Los Cabos many times. I only have a few resorts that I tell couples to run from. Feel free to contact me regarding. Weddings in Los Cabos Mexico. Destination weddings have such an amazing feeling to them. They really are totally different then a local wedding. The very first wedding I shot a wedding in Mexico was in Cabo San Lucas, the experience was so amazingly beautiful I did not want to leave. I remember that horrible day at the airport, realizing I had to actually go back to “The Real World” LOl.. Cabo today is my real world and I cannot express how blessed I feel for  my life. When planning a destination wedding the first thing  you need to do is choose a location. Everyone asks, me about safety. The truth is I feel safer in Los Cabos then I do in Los Angele’s. The next thing is the water and the food . Well I do not drink the water out of the faucet in LA and for sure you would not drink the sink water in Cabo either. lol.. Its really just common sense. The weddings take your breath away in this beautiful town. I have my favorite venues in all different price points. Whether you are spending $5000 or $100,0000 Cabo San Lucas has a venue for you. I cannot remember in 6 years  and hundreds of weddings ever saying. “Wow, Alec that was a bad wedding” I can remember saying “Wow Alec this couple did not get value for the money they spent” Choose your resort wisely and the people you put around you. Everyone today has access to research. Most couples today get personally involved and that’s great! We are also very busy. Well a little bit of rain, earthquake and resort room catching on fire would be a good start! I was sure when I walked in Steph would be stressed. She was perfectly calm and 100% stress free. The sun was out and the ocean glistened . We do not get a lot of rain in Cabo. When we get rain, the next day is always breathtaking. look at the sky in these photos!!  I had been talking with Stephanie & Thomas for about a year. And just loved them past the moon! I was excited when they decided to also hire Be That Bride Events. The day seemed to fly by we really had fun every minute. The balloons in the photos I took home for my son Liam. Destination weddings in Mexico, Cabo San Lucas has several wedding venues that I love!  Esperanza resort in Los Cabos ranks one of my all time favorites. Sunset da Mona Lisa in Cabo has  the best view in town. So we put them together and Tatiana and Ilyia had their dream wedding. Alec and I have done several Russian weddings . No one knows how to have fun like the Russians. If you ever have the chance to get invited to a Russian wedding do not dare miss it!  Tatiana and Ilyia did everything right~ Starting with they hired  Be That Bride Events to help with the wedding planning ” Thank you Yarai ” If your planning a destination wedding and think a wedding planner is an added cost… you may want to rethink that? The wedding started at Esperanza Resort and then ended up at Sunset Da Mona Lisa. There was not a moment of the day that did not have something exciting happening! Everything about this wedding was relaxed and from the outside looked stress free. When planning a destination wedding the very first thing on the list is pick a destination? Cabo San Lucas is a pretty perfect wedding spot.  Its safe and easy to get to, everyone speaks English “almost everyone” its clean and most of the resorts are new. Alec and I have been shooting weddings in Cabo for almost 6 years we have had the great opportunity to shoot in almost all the venues over 500 weddings. Do not start making your plans until we have talked I can guide you, and promise to not tell you.. They are all beautiful.. they are all nice.. urrr.. not true.. What a beautiful day it was in Cabo San Lucas Mexico! Why would you have a destination wedding in Los Cabos? I can think of many reasons. Here is one “Memories” take a look at these wedding photos.  How can you put a price on your memories.? Your wedding photos are a direct link to all your memories. Pick your wedding photographer wisely. SSDML is not an easy venue to photograph.The back light is killer. If your Photographer can figure it out and get it right? The results are amazing,  like no other place. This venue has views that will take your breath away. I took one look at Kathryne and all I could think of was this tall beautiful bride has made my day~ and to top it off everything about her was kind, warm, loving and fun!! Sunset da Mona Lisa in Los Cabos Mexico.This venue is an option for a beautiful event. Sunset da Mona Lisa is a restaurant just 5 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas. The breath taking sunset and non obstructed ocean views are the main selling points of this location. Alec and I are shooting  7 weddings at the venue this summer woohoo its a busy venue for weddings. Nicholas and  Victoria’s event was coordinated by Be That Bride Events . When planning a event at the restaurant  you will need an out side wedding planner Be That Bride Events has done several weddings at the venue and is highly recommended  by Sunset da Mona Lisa for your wedding planning needs.  Another windy day in April. I have to admit the wind has never ruined a wedding, for us anyway. Challenging yes a little. Victoria and Nicholas I do not think even noticed. We had a beautiful chemistry with the entire group. Weddings in Mexico are like no other weddings in the world. This beautiful event took place at Sunset da Mona Lisa, which is located in Cabo San Lucas. The restaurant sits on a cliff that jets out over the ocean. The views are breathtaking and will, for sure, have your wedding guests talking for years to come. The culture of Mexico is warm and caring. Mexicans are there to greet you with a hug a kiss…and a tequila!! LOL. Why in God’s name would you look any further for the perfect location for your destination wedding? The last time I was in the Caribbean, I was afraid  of the waitress. When I am on vacation, I want great service and smiling people around me. The first time I came to Cabo was to shoot a wedding and I remember the feeling I had was….”I must stay.” Los Cabos has a charm that draws you in and makes you think about your next trip before you have left from your first trip. Word of advice: If you think everything in Mexico is extremely cheap, or because it’s Mexico it should be almost free and people make $5 a day….Wrong!! But I will tell you this: you will never find a location in the USA like Sunset da Mona Lisa and if you did, it would be double or triple the cost. When You start planning your Cabo San Lucas destination wedding, the very first thing you need to do is. Call me or Email me.. hahhaha! I promise to point you in the right direction. Cabo San Lucas has beautiful resorts and wedding venue for every budget. I have my favorites and Sunset Da Mona Lisa is for sure on my list. Take a look at these photos. Where in the world do you get this breathtaking view? Diana and Aleem had a beautiful Los Cabos wedding. The sunset was as usual enchanting on This December evening. The couple was fun and easy to shoot. When planning your wedding at Sunset Da Mona Lisa the key is having the ceremony at just the right time. Warning:Do not even think about printing your invitation without asking your photographer what time the ceremony should be. Every location in Cabo has a different sunset time depending on the location of the mountains and the buildings and time of year. In many locations the actual look and feeling of Sunset maybe 20 minutes before sunset. How important are your photos are to you? I had some one say many photographers just “Go with the flow” Ha!! We DO NOT go with the flow if the flow is wrong.  A ceremony 30 minutes to late can be the end of those great photos. Alec and I normally schedule about 30-40 minutes alone with the bride and groom. We move very fast. Its the biggest celebration of your life why would you want to rush it? Take your time enjoy your day stress free. Diana and Aleem did just that and it was a perfect day!~xoxox T

Alec and I have shot over 30 weddings at Sunset da Mona Lisa and still, to this day, look at the new weddings and just cannot get over the photos that are produced at this wedding location. This wedding is one of my favorite Sunset da Mona Lisa weddings! The light was beautiful, the sky was perfect, and the couple…I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful to work with. We had instant chemistry with Jennifer and Paul. Jennifer told me her story of finding this blog and photos from the venue and knowing in her heart that this would be the place she would have her wedding!! Last year, I had three different brides tell me they had not even considered Mexico as their destination wedding. Then they ran across my blog and found the wedding photos of Sunset da Mona Lisa. And that was it…Mexico here we come!! The photos from this Cabo wedding venue are breathtaking. The venue is a little tricky to capture if you are not careful as a photographer. It has extreme back light, nowhere to hide from the sun on a bright day, and can be very windy at certain times of the year. On the other hand, it has unreal views, the breeze feels cool on hot days and the sunset is like no other place in Cabo San Lucas, or maybe the world!! Alec and I have figured out how to make it work like a charm every time. Sometimes think I could photograph this beautiful and enchanting†Los Cabos wedding location with my eyes closed and hands tied behind my back. Hahaha that was a joke. Wedding Photography is never easy. It’s an extreme challenge every wedding to make sure that we do not miss anything and that the true emotion of the day is captured and preserved forever. Los Cabos Mexico Wedding Location Sunset Da Mona Lisa. Talk about great wedding photos in Cabo!  I love this  wedding venue. The views will take your breath away, like out of a dream. Sunset Da Mona Lisa has a special place in my heart. Alec and I really understand the light and how the light works in this venue. We have not shot a single wedding at this venue that we have not just loved the photos.This was a very windy day in Cabo and it still worked beautifully. We also have a wonderful working relationship with David the events manager. Thinking of a Cabo destination wedding? You should take a look at this wedding venue. Sunset Da Mona Lisa is located in Cabo and over looks the ocean with a perfect view of the arch. I have had many brides call me and what to get married at the restaurant just for these famous wedding photos! Alec and I love shooting at SSDML,  its a great wedding venue and totally breathtaking. Its also a great wedding rehearsal dinner option and a for sure great dinner option if in town for a few days. Amanda was breathtaking on her own, she would have photographed beautiful anywhere!  she reminded me of Charlize Theron and Brandon was pretty easy on the eye as well. Between the beautiful, extremely nice couple and the amazing venue, this wedding was an easy one to capture! What a beautiful Cabo wedding! Sunset Da Mona Lisa is known for its breath taking views! I tell everyone coming to Cabo San Lucas try to make it a point to have dinner at The restaurant and arrive about 45 minutes before sunset, it really is a romantic way to spend an evening. Zahra and Shafiq contacted me at the beginning of the year. I remember talking to Zahra and hearing the total joy and excitement in her voice about her wedding. I love that! I am a very excitably person. Alec always says I will most likely be more excited about the wedding then the actual couple getting married. Lol. When I met Zahra and Shafiq for the first time it was smiles from ear to ear I think that Shafiq did not stop smiling the entire meeting, I walked away super excited to be apart of their day.The day started at Barcelo in San Jose Del Cabo where the couple got ready, The wedding ceremony and reception was held at Sunset da Mona Lisa.

Another great Sunset Da Mona Lisa wedding. Or should I say another amazing Los Cabos destination wedding. Veronica could not take a bad photo, every angle she was perfect, And even more beautiful in video believe it or not.” The Alec and T.” wedding video is coming soon!! Veronica contacted us over 1 year ago, she was surfing the internet when she came across our blog and saw some photos of Sunset Da Mona Lisa. Veronica and Paul had originally had another country in mind! and had never even been to Mexico. Thank U for the internet and a very resourceful bride. We were meant to be! We spent the next year building a wonderful relationship, talking about everything. Some times its sad when the wedding is actually over, after getting to know someone for so long and being involved in the planning and the build up to the day.Veronica and Paul congratulations! I think your decision to come to Cabo was a great one and come back soon. T

Amazing Cabo Wedding! Best Destination Wedding in Mexico! Sunset da Mona Lisa and Cabo Del Sol Venues

What an amazing Cabo San Lucas wedding! Sunset Da Mona Lisa and Cabo Del Sol as the perfect wedding venues. Luke Greenfield ( Something Borrowed, Director) married Sarah Baldwin Los Angeles actress, in Los Cabos Mexico! To my friends Luke and Sarah, what a perfect day it was, Congratulations! Alec and I shoot over 60 weddings per year , I have to be honest..This wedding had me a bit nervous. Luke and Sarah had a clear vision for their day, it was scripted out almost to the minute. The first dance included the entire bridal party and was choreographed by the Amazing John Carrafa – Johns recent work, BRIDE WARS with Anne Hathaway, SOMETHING BORROWED with Kate Hudson, THE OTHER GUYS with Will Farrell  The thought that went into the day was like no other couple we have worked with. At first I was thinking..OK this could be a royal pain in the ass. Luke is going to make a block buster movie out of his wedding, and we are going to be responsible for shooting the photos and shooting the movie?? hmmm…Then I got to know Luke and Sarah.  Then it become a challenge and then it became a passion. Every moment of this wedding day was meaningful, it was not a pain in the ass! Just the opposite. It was an unforgettable day for Alec and I. I think these are some of the best wedding photos I have ever seen. The personality of the day is for ever preserved. Luke and Sarah,  You have made us better at what we do~ we thank you! WE LOVE U! WOOOHOOO you did it!!

Cabo wedding location Sunset da Mona Lisa. Amber and Matt You did it and it was wonderful! Amber spent months planning this wedding and maybe has a new career as a wedding planner! Or she may never have anything to do with a single wedding again!! LOL.. I tip my hat to you Amber you did an amazing job with all the detail. The months of work paid off huge! This wedding had a personal touch to it that could be felt from everyone. This was a fun wedding, a wedding with great ENERGY from the start until the end.  Alec and I thought that this wedding was going to be a bit of a challenge..It was a 11:30am ceremony at Sunset da Mona Lisa, YES we are talking bright bright bright. Light is everything when it comes to photography. Every wedding is important to us. We feel such an obligation to make sure that every couple gets not good photos but photos off the chart. I think we did our job, I look at the photos and I can feel the wedding day all over again. I am so happy for both Amber and Matt they truly deserve great photos and they got them!

Amber’s skin was flawless, I have never seen anyone with skin this perfect! I was born with more wrinkles

Alec and I have photographed many weddings at this location., and highly recommend it!! Kisha and Paul could not have been a nicer couple and we felt so honored to be able to share their day with them. Their intimate wedding was planned by Tammy from Cabo weddings . Tammy put great loving care into this day and it showed in every way. Alec and I walked away from this wedding feeling very touched by this super kind couple, One of those days when you pinch yourself and say Thank You God for allowing me to do this for a living!! T

WEDDING at the Westin Resort Cabo and Sunset Da Mona Lisa Cabo San Lucas Mexico

Kathy and Ben had and private wedding for two. And it was wonderful!  The wedding  ceremony was at the Westin Resort in Cabo San Lucas.  The wedding dinner and Sunset Photos at one of my favorite wedding Venues,  Sunset da Mona Lisa also in Cabo. Alec and I instantly had wonderful chemistry with this couple. I love these intimate weddings! When a couple hires Alec and I , It means that Photography is a wedding priority, Much care and consideration goes into making sure the time line fits with the light etc. I worked with Roxanne from Baja weddings to make sure this wedding was as perfect as possible, And it was pretty close to perfect. Thank U Rox!!  The photos are amazing! The day went completely smooth. At the end of the shoot we could have stayed and talk to Kathy and Ben all night. I cant begin to say how much Alec and I love what we do!!  and how great it is when we get the chance to meet beautiful people like this couple! Kathy Ben see you soon in Cabo!! T

Sunset Da Mona Lisa, Amazing Wedding Location in Cabo, Photos By ALEC & T.

Sunset Da Mona Lisa in Cabo San Lucas still takes my breath away!!  After shooting many many weddings at this location I still stop and take in the views.  Maria and Clayton found the location after searching the internet and running across some beautiful photos that Alec and I had posted of the venue. Maria got ready at Casa Dorada . When I walked in and took one looked at her I knew that her eyes would love the camera and the camera would love her eyes ( she photographed like a movie star from the 40s). Every bride has something that is exceptional and we focus on it, to make sure that their individual personality’s come out in the photos. And this was a no brain- er. Clayton was about as nice as you can get. So you can imagine,  once again Alec and I walk away loving what we do! Oh and did I mention?? The wedding planner was April from Baja Weddings another big plus!

I added a some Black and White photos at the end. I think the feel of the old classic look was perfect for this wedding .. but so hard to decide.. so they will get them both!

Sunset da Mona Lisa is for sure one of my all time favorite wedding venues in Cabo., actually anywhere.  This was a very special wedding, It was in the planning stages for along time, WOW it was worth the wait. The wedding went off without a single bump in the road. The details I loved!!  Victoria and Fredrick both had a very upscale and formal way about them. The details in black and white and then the bright red and burnt orange accents, fit this couple perfect. Victoria and Frederik’s wedding was planned by Rachel Hanson at Infinity Weddings .  She did an great job with dressing up the restaurant, I had noticed that the pathway of the restaurant looked different and I could not point out what it was..  The day of the wedding Rachel arrived early and planted extra plants and flowers so that when Victoria walked down the path it would be perfect for her. I am all about detail ( the sum of all). We really had fun shooting the photos and the wedding video. Cheers! Alec & T

Sunset da Mona Lisa in Cabo San Lucas is one of my favorite wedding Locations. Breath taking views and amazing sunsets!  Alec and I love this venue,  we have never shot a wedding that we did not fall over backwards when we started to edit. Emina and Sulejmans wedding was coordinated by April at  Baja Weddings highly recommended, first class Cabo wedding coordinators!!  We just finished editing the wedding video and it is just as amazing as the photos,  I will put the video up in the next few days. This was a small intimate wedding that was done with such class and elegant touches. Enima knew exactly what she wanted. The wedding colors, her choice of dress,  everything was perfect. The Sunset in Cabo was as usual heart stopping. We laughed and enjoyed everyone the entire day. I’m so happy to share these wedding photos with this beautiful couple, Thinking of you both!!! xoxoT
